I went here for my 18th birthday and did Mission: MARS and it was AMAZING this is hands down the BEST escape room in the area (we went to three different ones over our 4 day trip) not only because of the super fun games but also the ABSOLUTELY OTHERWORLDLY staff!!!!!!!! (We also went to another escape room the day after, and we didn’t have the greatest experience but it made me even more grateful and appreciative and aware of the contrast between an escape room and an amazing escape rooms EXPERIENCE) Everyone here is so kind, bubbly and fun especially STEPHANIE AND ALEC i can’t even express how much they elevated our experience just by being there, it wasn’t just customer service it felt like they were our best friends before we even walked in and not to mention even when we called to make sure they got our compliments David who we didn’t get to meet in person was also super kind and fun to talk to and genuinely appreciative of our compliments. This is now my #1 favorite escape room ever and i can confidently say that over the 10+ Ive been to over the years this is the best one (never been to the same one twice but now i want to try every game at every “the escape game” across the country 😂), Ive been to some COOL escape rooms but none of them have had staff anywhere near this level of greatness! (If you guys see this you are all the best and i hope to return as soon as possible and every time im in orlando 🤧) seriously though i will never forget this experience ill be 90 and probably part robot and still remember LOL OH OKAY I SWEAR THIS IS THE LAST THING BUT THEY ALSO GIVE GREAT HINTS AND ACTUALLY WATCH YOU THE WHOLE TIME ive been to a few where i have to ask them to elaborate or be like can we have a bigger hint for the same task multiple times 😭 i can’t say this goes for everyone ever but for us the hints were perfectly explained also sometimes if we have a question or need a hint the game master isn’t watching, there has been multiple occasions we spent way to long just trying to get a hint or like what happened to us there where we got the code right but my sister didn’t press “#” they immediately let us know to remember to press “#”, other places it has taken like 5 minutes for them to hear us and realize we had the right code and just didn’t enter it properly or forgot a step which isn’t the end of the world but its lost time and in an escape room full of determined escape artists time...

Twelve of us walked into The Escape Game in Orlando expecting puzzles. What we didn’t expect? To be transported straight back to elementary school — except this time, it was way more fun, a little chaotic, and surprisingly challenging.

“The Playground” is a masterclass in immersive set design. From the chalkboard-covered classroom walls to a full-blown jungle gym, the attention to detail was absolutely next level. It didn’t feel like a room with puzzles… it felt like we were living a quirky schoolyard adventure designed by a team of genius overachievers with a love for nostalgia and mischief.

The challenge level was right in the Goldilocks zone: not too easy, not mind-melting — but definitely enough to make you work together, think laterally, and high-five your way through those “a-ha!” moments. With 12 in our squad (a mix of newbies and a few puzzle veterans), we managed to escape with just under 9 minutes left on the clock — which basically makes us valedictorians of recess, right?

Our game master deserves a standing ovation. They struck the perfect balance between hands-off and helpful — nudging us just enough to keep momentum, but never spoiling the magic or dropping a flat-out answer. That kind of subtle guidance is an art form, and they nailed it.
