If I could give a separate rating for how friendly this salon is I would give a 5 star. My stylist was very sweet and fun to talk to. Unfortunately that's not what you are looking to get from going to a salon and I left with my hair cut very short and not like how I asked for it. I'm not sure if the stylist was new or just careless but she cut about 10inches off so my hair was at my shoulders. Before the cut my hair went down to my lower back. I had shown the stylist a picture with long layers down to the chest and the shortest layers at the shoulder. Basically the same cut but i needed it fresh to get the dead ends. I specifically said "keep it on the LONGER side". I walked out in tears with a shoulder length cut and very poor layering. The salon was very kind about it and knew that it was not a good cut and apologized (because what else could they do?!). Their policy is not refunds but they even gave me one since it was so bad. I'm not writing this to talk poorly about the salon but to let anyone know who really cares how their hair looks to make sure you're really on top of what's going on if you pick this salon because I sadly am now dealing with highly disliking my hair and having to wear it up all the time. From other reviews it looks like they're just like most other salons in SOCA. Good a the beach look but maybe not...

My experience was great, even though I'm the one who kinda backed out of my original plan to get bangs for the first time. So when I called 3 weeks later to book a 15 min cut to my surprise there was no charge. How upstanding is that? (Still TIP YOUR STYLIST) It does take longer for the sac to dry than for me to find my way out of it, so I'm positive it is time for a touch up. Perfect name for your establishment I have truly felt BLISSFUL since getting rid of the monster I used to refer to as my hair. Thanks so much Brigitte for my original service and everyone elses help cleaning up my inability to make a final decision. So glad I came back!

“ Ruben gave me one of the best haircut experiences I’ve had. He was Michelangelo and I was his Sistine Chapel. The price was very reasonable and something strange happened when I walked out of the doors. I grew an inch taller, my muscles worked better, and people I passed on the sidewalk stared and smiled. As I saw my reflection in store windows I noticed that dr Seuss was walking alongside me. He mouthed that I was destined to be the leader of the free world and nodded his head in assurance, the tall hat bobbing on his head... I’d recommend Ruben to anyone and will be sure to return...
