The Dahlonega Fudge Factory — Attraction in Dahlonega

We were in town and had been told we needed to stop by here so we did. Let me tell you the samples were delicious. All the store employees were polite and cheerful even with the teasing my wife was doing being as she has been making brittle and divinity for several several years herself. She had to admit that the products offered here were as good as her own though! We had some more walking around to do so we had to leave and come back but when we did we purchased some delicious fudge and caramel turtles as well as some divinity. Unfortunately for us we had a little bit of a mishap a couple days later and all of our stuff was ruined so we didn't get to enjoy it,But we enjoyed our visit and the samples so much that as soon as the weather cools down my wife is planning on ordering some to be shipped! I would highly recommend this place to anyone with a sweet tooth, I think...

I do not live in Georgia but we always keep this place in mind when passing through the area. We found this place on the way through Dahlonega one trip and fudge shops always catch our eye. So, we stopped in and found they offer much more than just fudge as well. If you like being like a kid in a candy store this place will keep you peering at the goodies under the glass. It made me want to buy a little of everything. We love our fudge and they have great fudge which is made on site. The staff was very friendly. This place is also more reasonably priced than those in Helen, Ga on the main street tourist strip which have become very overpriced since our last visit through. So, it will be unlikely that we will come through Dahlonega without stopping in and purchasing some...

The fudge wasn't that great and the praline pecan candy crunched with sugar. The peanut butter cups were absolutely delicious and the chocolate pecan cluster were very good. We bought 2 chocolate dipped marshmallow sticks, 2 praline pecan clusters, 2 chocolate pecan clusters, 4 peanut butter cups and it cost around $30.00. My husband went the day before and bought 2 pieces of fudge and 2 peanut butter cups and 2 chocolate covered bacon strips (he and my son-in-law, loved it) the total on this order was $32.03. This is a nice clean candy store to visit but they're not that friendly and as you can see, it is a bit pricey, but if you're on vacation, why...
