It's A Secret Med Spa — Attraction in Dallas

I’ve been going to It’s A Secret Med Spa for the past 3 years, but will not be returning after my experience today. The service has gone down hill a lot, and the employees come off as extremely stuck up and unprofessional. I booked an appointment online for their advertised filler special, and then called more than 10 times before someone finally answered my calls, because I wanted to make sure the injector I booked with would honor the deal. The girl I spoke with assured me she would, and told me she would put a note on my account. Then, 2 weeks later they called me 30 minutes before my appointment to tell me the injector would actually not honor the discount, and my only option was to pay full price or move my appointment to later that day with another injector. No apologies, or nothing. I live 40 minutes away, and I was already half way to their location at this point, and had plans with my family that evening that couldn’t be moved. I let the receptionist know this and she just Asked me again (sounding really annoyed) If I wanted to pay full price or move my appointment to a later time that day. I was appalled that there was no acknowledgment that they messed up and not me with the booking, and they were acting like this was my problem, and they could care less about my business. When I’m about to drop almost $1,000 on lips and Botox, I expect better service. If they had at least called me the day before so I could make arrangements to move my appointment it would have been better than calling me last minute. I’ve never had a company treat me so rudely. I hope they work on teaching their employees professionalism going forward.

• UPDATE - the manager reached out to me and my husband and apologized for the behavior of their employees, and agreed to train them better on customer service. She also offered us both 30% off on our services if we have them another try. We went to Megan at their new uptown location, and she did an amazing job, and was really nice. There is only one place I will go for Botox, fillers and aesthetic services! I have been going to It’s A Secret for several years now.

Alisha Shuweb is a very talented, detail oriented injector who takes the time with her patients to be sure she understands their treatment goals, and she makes a plan that will really meet their individual needs vs. the one-size-fits-all approach many OTHER medspas or OTHER injectors might take. She is diligent, and she takes her continued training and education very seriously - constantly pursuing further education opportunities where she is perfecting new techniques to give her patients the best results. Not only is she excellent at what she does, she makes appointments fun and personal, remembering all her clients and making you feel special and comfortable. I truly trust Alisha with my face - and I always know I’m going to walk away with the result I want. She keeps me looking like myself!

Jenn Illing is also a great, experienced injector who will always prioritize the BEST result for the patient. Jenn is very adamant about not doing a treatment that won’t work well. She is precise, she is experienced with more advanced procedures (like the non-surgical nose job) that require really extensive training, and she has perfected her craft. Jenn is smart, respectful, and highly professional. I really appreciate the time Jenn takes to educate me on what she’s doing and what to expect. One of the #1 compliments I get is on my lips, and I have Jenn to thank for that! I fully trust Jenn’s recommendations, and I know she will never go forward with anything that won’t give me the absolute best result.

Tiffany, the nurse injector, was not only skilled and professional in administering my Botox treatment, but also took the time to listen to my concerns and thoughtfully address other issues I had been unsure about. She made me feel completely at ease, and her expertise showed in every step of the process. I am a RN with a Masters Degree so from one medical professional to another I can say she was phenomenal.

Claire, my aesthetician, was kind, welcoming, and created a relaxing experience. She made me feel cared for and comfortable throughout my visit. She supported and educated me regarding skin issues and my concerns.

What really stood out today was the incredible customer service. I’ve been confused about my membership benefits for over six months — halfway through my contract — and no one had clearly explained it to me until now. (Yes, I have asked) Haleigh went above and beyond. She heard me asking and carved out time from her busy schedule to sit with me, walk me through the details, and ensure I fully understood all of the services and how everything worked.
