(See review at end) MY TESTIMONY STORY:

I had 10 days left before my wedding when I found out that the dress I had ordered online was cancelled...... My last resort was to go locally. I first went to a store near my house and ended up spending more on tailoring. At first I didn't care for the price, because the tailor was going to get it done in no time, and I found a dress! (Less to worry about) But my fiance (who is now my husband) got upset with the price I paid... so deeply devastated and hopeless I became, I went on google to search "wedding dress outlet store near me"--and found Jana Ann Couture. At first I didn't think I would even find a dress within the budget I set for myself as I felt intimidated by how gorgeous and luxurious Jana's dresses looked on the photos that welcomed me on her website, but I saw a 'make an appointment box', so I jumped right at it..! I booked an appointment for the following morning hoping... just hoping... that maybe... just maybe [there's something for me].

Little did I know I was running into God's plan.

I walked into Janna's fancy white walled dress store filled with racks full of beautiful white dresses and sparkling jewelries. There were fruits, cheese, and crackers waiting at the center of the store on fancy silver wear plates, waiting just for me to nib on, and I was asked which drink I would like to have. eyes widen, jaws drop..blown away [no questions asked, Jana and her assistants treats their customers like VIPs the moment you set foot into their store]

After introducing myself and letting Jana know the style of dress I was looking for, and what my budget was, she quickly directs me suited for my requirements. I went through about 6 or 7 dresses (i think), and had the hardest time choosing/deciding, until Janna pulled out one of her most precious ball gown designs.... Never did I think that this dress was within my budget, but Janna made it happen for me. God's plan started falling into place, because the dress fitted only me ever since Janna first made it, and her tailor, Cat (who was normally off on that day) was there..!! Also, supposedly from what I understood, this dress was reserved for fitting for another bride but didn't show up so Janna openly gave me the dress for a price I never imagined I could afford [including the tailoring]...!! So there was no other way for this to end but with a YES!! Honestly, no otherr word can describe Janna's work, design, and service along with her assistants as MIND BLOWING.

REVIEW:

From the very minute I entered Janna's store, I was treated with so much care and compassion. Not every business is like that, and Janna truly shines in delivering beyond imaginable service to her brides. She and her assistants (Dori, Prin, Diana, and Cat) really works as a team to help their bride find the perfect dress. Not only perfect in the eyes, but perfect in all categories--perfect in the pocket, in the curves, brides' taste, and character. Their work here truly brings a Cinderella story to every one of her brides (at least for me). 😊💕 My overall experience with Jana Ann Couture was truly one humbling journey. Never did I feel alone (even if I only booked an appointment for a party of 1 [because sometimes thats how it is being with an active military]), because Janna, Dori and Prin were very supportive and comforting. I'm sure whether you come in as a party of 1, 3, 5, 9 or more... your time with Jana Ann Couture will be one heck of a story to tell❤

I have never felt the need to review on yelp or any other site until meeting with Jana last week.

Let me start of by telling you that I found Jana on Yelp back in June. I was impressed by her 5 star reviews and immediately called to inquire on pricing and availability. I set up an appointment for September hoping that it would give me enough time to get in better shape. While waiting for that appointment my mom wanted to see what David's Bridal had to offer. I tried on many dresses and all the dresses that were available in my size looked extremely unflattering. I left very discouraged. September came and I ended up cancelling the appointment with fear of going in and leaving with that same feeling.

When calling other couture boutiques, I had constantly been told that they did not carry sample sizes to accommodate my bridal size/ tall height. Needless to say, I was over the dress thing.

This last week I came across an advertisement for Jana Ann Couture on Facebook. I told my mom that they were offering Black Friday pricing this weekend only and she immediately told me to book an appointment. Reluctantly, I made the appointment for today.

When I first walked into Jana Ann Couture I was greeted directly by Jana. I loved the feel of her home. It is beautiful with lots of natural light and did not have the overwhelming feel that you get from many other boutiques or stores. The first floor of the home is completely dedicated to all things bridal. Jana walked us into a cozy living room and we sat down and talked. I expressed my feelings and my wants for a dress. Jana was so sincere in her responses and you can really see that she cares about you and your experience. At no time during the whole interaction did I ever feel uncomfortable.The first dress I tried on fit me beautifully and restored my faith! You could see it in my moms eyes that she was impressed by the quality and structure of the dresses. The second dress was just as gorgeous. The built-in corset hugged my frame in such a flattering and feminine way. My curves looked great!

I ended up falling in love with an amazing dress in "Diamond white". IT IS A SHOW STOPPER! I was so pleased with the intricate attention to detail of the lace, sequence, netting and beading of this gown. Jana, mom and myself along with her two assistants customized my dress using this one as the main influence. We took the structure of the second dress, the neck line of the first, and the detailed overlay of the show stopper to make the most amazing combination. Jana was so accommodating and never once made any of our request feel like an issue. After getting caught up in the excitement of it all, I realized that we may have gone wayyyyy over budget with this creation. Jana went to crunch the numbers while I changed. I was so nervous that after all this, I may have to leave without this design. When Jana returned with a big smile she told me that her main goal is to make me happy. The price she gave me for this couture dress was extremely reasonable and I couldn't be happier.

I really want to thank Jana for creating such a great experience for my mom and I. It will be a great memory. I plan on updating this review and documenting my story after each visit with Jana prior...

UPDATE: Came in to my alterations appointment and JANA ANN was there!! I was shocked to say the least that I was fortunate enough to meet the designer of my beautiful wedding dress! This appointment was incredible and fast! I needed hardly any alterations to the length, added a bustle and beautiful cups. From start to finish I was there in less than 30min. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my wedding dress. These gowns are one of a kind and hand sewn. It’s VERY APPARENT that they care about all their gowns and how you feel in the dress. I am incredibly lucky to be able to wear a Jana Ann Couture dress on my special day! Thank you all ladies for your help! Can’t wait to pick up my dress in August!

If I could give Jana Ann Couture more stars I would. Let me just start off by saying I was EXTREMELY anxious and nervous going into this appointment as this was my first time bridal dress shopping and let’s just say I’m a bit of a bigger girl. So the fear of getting stuck in a dress, being body shamed (I had this happen at a David’s Bridal for a bridesmaids dress in the past) or looked at differently because of how I look. THIS IS WHERE THE EXPERIENCE STARTS. My mom and I had an appointment with Paytin. Let me just say, SHE IS INCREDIBLE not only at her job but as a person. My mom and I were welcomed by Paytin and Jeneane, these ladies were AMAZING! Paytin sat down with my mom and I and explained details of dresses, what I like and budget before going to pull a few dresses. She has me put on the first dress and let me just say, she knows what she is doing! This is where all my anxiety and fears disappeared. The dress looked flattering and unbelievably beautiful! Although I didn’t go with the first dress (I picked the second dress I tried on!). These ladies made me feel incredibly confident and are such wonderful, genuine women! The best part besides Paytin being respectful of our budget, the aren’t pushy to make a sale in the slightest bit! Their main belief is “if it’s meant to be it’s meant to be”. I had another appointment set with a cancellation fee if I didn’t attend. I told Paytin I still wanted to look as it was my very first shopping experience. My mom and I went to the other store and within 10 min of being there (we arrived 30min early) we left. The quality at Jana Ann Couture is undeniably obvious once you have seen their quality of work versus a chain bridal store. You’re not only paying for the dress but you’re paying for such a positive and amazing experience! My mom and I ended up going back to purchase the dress and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with these wonderful ladies. I had the pleasure of working with Shaundra to purchase the dress as Paytin was with another client. She was also wonderful to talk to. ALL three of these women are incredible human beings. I left feeling the most confident and beautiful I have felt in a really long time! Thank you ladies for the best experience for my mom and I on this...
