I gotta say... I love this place. The first time I visited, it was very picturesque. It was a cold and rainy morning and the little green-colored frame of the outside barely sticks out enough to notice it from the road. Going here very much felt like going to a coffeehouse in Boston. Looking inside the window you can see all the happy customers enjoying there coffee and you feel like it's inviting you in. When you step inside, you feel like you're transported back in time to the 1700's in a sense. All the interior walls, floors, shelves, tables, and chairs are all a dark wood that softens the light, enhancing the atmosphere. I've really liked all the food I've had here, but the kicker for me are their specialty coffees. One of my favorites being the Nutty Irish Lady, and I'll substitute the regular milk for coconut milk. They will also have special boards up that are constantly changing. Something that adds to the experience too when you dine-in are the mugs they serve the coffee in. So great! Their dessert case is amazing as well. Surely to balance the desserts, the hot food you can get leans towards being healthy options. I feel like it's satisfying how the food is good for you without being too much or too heavy for breakfast/lunch. Come in just for some coffee or treat yourself to a great morning!

Our reviews had over 52 million in the last 12 months. We do not get paid we just love to eat and have fun. We really love Boston Coffeehouse. Went there a few times before going to shows at the Athens Theater. Great food and great staff. We love the expresso drinks made to order but the real star of the show are the desserts. Love the chocolate earthquake cake (must LOVE chocolate) anything pumpkin is awesome. My fave was the coconut cake. All desserts are made daily and serve one. Cookies, cinnamon buns, are awesome too. Cannoli's and Neapolitan are must haves as well. Fun place, easy parking and table service make this a great go to spot anytime. Great pancakes and egg sandwiches and all kinds of lunch and breakfast goodies as well. Check out all of our reviews and look at all the photos below. If we do not like it we do no review it so all of the ones you see are places that are fantastic. Follow us if you like. We had over 52 million views in the last 12 months and we thank you for that. I drove from Fort Lauderdale to Deland to see my old friend Ray Long, Mr. Virginia 1983. He was the personal trainer for Isaac Hayes, and also worked with Muhammad Ali, Evander Holyfield and Pernell Whitaker. I needed some breakfast on arrival in Deland and Google recommended the Boston Coffeehouse. A quaint little place downtown, warm and inviting. Very classic decor and atmosphere. Had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich with orange juice. It was delicious. If you want to enjoy a nice breakfast or lunch, the Boston Coffeehouse is the place to be. Kind and courteous staff, good prices, plenty of specials in a nice quiet atmosphere. Ray Long is now 73 years old and visits the prison weekly to give sermons to the prisoners. Added note:Casa Daga is nearby. Google it. It's a magical place. Blue crystal springs and others also nearby. Great boating and kayaking, and four wheeling also. Did you know the monkeys at the springs were left there by the makers of the original Tarzan movies in the 1920's. They never caught and returned them to their native homeland.

Amazing service! I cannot emphasize enough how amazing the staff was! My son has autism and is nonverbal so he tantrums a lot, and there is nothing we can do. I had already been kicked out of trilogy for his meltdown and I needed food so I didn’t pass out. So at this point I’m crying because people are staring and I’m just hoping I don’t get kicked out of this place too, and I desperately needed food or I was going to pass out. I was trying to balance my jacket on my arm while trying to pick him up as he wanted to be held. The one worker noticed this and offered to hold my jacket so I could pick him up. I kept crying and apologizing and explaining I need food so I don’t pass out and to please not kick me out. The woman in line heard this and offered to hold my coat and the employee left. I turn around and the employee has a cup of lemonade in her hands and says here this will help you and maybe calm him down. The tears really started flowing then and I turn around and there is the nice employee with a wad of napkins for my tears and she kept reassuring me well the other people will simply need to understand and kept telling me I was not going to get kicked out for his meltdown down. He was screaming so loud that when I got to the register they had a hard time hearing me, but again the staff was so understanding and patient even with the place completely crowded from the Madi grad parade. They explained to people that I just needed a bit more patience and turned an absolutely horrible experience into a heart felt amazing experience. Simply going to the grocery store is beyond hard but I knew he would love all the shiny floats so we braved the parade, I never thought just getting food would be such a...

I love Boston coffee but my only complaint would be their delivery set up. I sometimes unfortunately don’t have the ability to drive down town to pick up my food so I use DoorDash. It’s super inconvenient that you change your DoorDash hours all the time randomly. They never match your actual store hours. I deal with it because I have to lol it’s not my business. As a costumer I was curious why this is, so I called and politely asked. The young lady was very nice and admitted she didn’t honestly know but that she would ask. When she came back on the phone she said “the kitchen said” because it’s too much on them and that it would be back on the next day at a certain time that I don’t remember. I said okay and left it at that. I was a bit perplexed because I use logic and to be honest if I wanted to still eat I could have easily said that was fine and told her I wanted to place an order for pick and the kitchen would still have to cook it because in all actuality they were indeed still open for business just not with DoorDash. I also could have decided to go in and sit down to eat and the kitchen would still have to cook it, right? So as I respected your decision, I call bs. Respectfully! As a costumer that has been visiting Boston coffee establishments for years, my only advice is, help the costumer out...
