3 different menus and all of them don't have the draft list of the beers made there? The pages are all covered with either food, other beers, or fun facts about Scotland... This was an ordeal to get a menu which is wild. I tried the Bonnie B which appears to be being removed from the lineup, it is just very watery, no real body or substance to the beer. Served with a shot of whiskey to help the flavor. The beer was just very flat and one note. I feel like such a Karen but it's not a good beer. The DIPA was skunky. It must have been a bad day or the reviews are wild imo
Wasn't a big fan of their layout, the paper menus are atrocious, the digital ones are difficult to read unless if you're right up at the TV's. The paper menus have random stories about their ingredients, kinda difficult to choose a beer when you're reading puns and jokes on each beer. Just inform the buyer of the beer, the style, and then a brief description of the beer? Must have been a bad day, very quiet everyone playing bingo kinda awkward to be in that place when it's 15 patrons playing bingo.
I'm sure they have a following of loyal folk, but if you're new it'll feel awkward. Very small...
Read moreWhen I entered the restaurant, my first thought was how fresh and crisp it felt, and considering how hot it was outside, it was so good. The decor and everything was all over, I could hardly focus but it didn't look terrible. The tables are nice and the place is clean. I like the purse hooks under the bar. Very helpful.
Being able to sample a beer before purchasing is super awesome. The one I ordered, was very good. I ordered the apple cider one but honestly, the color and flavor appeared to be more of the super hen beer which is the berry one. It was still very good. The food is limited but the bratwurst was well done and juicy. The steak mac and cheese was awesome. I do not like sauerkraut or mustard. And pickles just make me sick so I topped my brat with the mac and cheese and it worked so well for me.
I enjoyed the lunch date today and I think next time we will try a flight to have a good sample of their many...
Read moreThere is not a lot authentic places around volusia, at least not that i know about, regardless this is the cutest brewery l've visited so far. They have a very unique and interesting selection, some of the beers are brewed in the establishment (if not all) and their hops are imported from Europe! In my books that's a win for sure, their food is definitely authentic Scottish cuisine, not necessarily the most delicious for however definitely authentic and completes the experience. Ive also tried their cider, and it was great! Not too sweet, which is a definite plus compared to commercially available ones. Service is great, we were checked on couple of times but not much, bartender made sure he is available if we need him. Additionally the walls are decorated in bunch of meaningful decor, mostly Scottish, And it makes you feel like you stepped into the highlands! Unique experience-will...
