After coming here multiple times over the last couple years, I was very bummed out by my final experience.
Back story - in August, after getting injections and a hydrafacial, I booked more injections six months out. Simple enough, right?! Wrong!
January rolls around and I am starting to look forward to my appointment. Then everything goes awry.
First, I get a text that my injector quit so my appointment is changed. Two weeks later, I get a text that my new injector has covid, so my appointment is changed for a second time. Finally, I get a get a day off work so I can get this appointment in. I go in, do all the intake paperwork and go upstairs with the injector. We talk about what I want, and she draws on my face where she is going to inject me. THEN she asks if I've had a flu shot in the past two weeks....45 minutes after I initially walk in the door. Well, yes, as a matter of fact I have, nine days ago. Who knew you couldn't get botox after having a flu shot?!? They did!! And waited until the last minute to mention it.
She's like, so sorry for the repeated inconvenience. I'm here every Saturday, and when you come back we will give you a 50 cent discount per unit. Really not that impressive of a discount after literally planning my January and February around this appointment, but I'll take what I can get.
I go down to schedule my appointment (fourth time's a charm?!) for the next Saturday, and the receptionist lets me know that the injector has in fact taken off the next Saturday to go to Vegas. OK, then two Saturdays from now is fine.
Two Saturdays roll by and I finally get in to get my long awaited injections. I walk in and mention the previously discussed discount. The receptionist states she's "going to have to look through my chart" and decide whether or not I get this discount (literally like $15 off....after I've spent thousands of dollars at their establishment).
Ok I say, I'll wait. Two seconds later she says they will honor what my injector offered to me two weeks prior. Thanks???
Mind you, nothing mentioned thus far has ANYTHING to do with why I chose to write this review. I understand stuff happens. The bad review comes from what happens next.
I go upstairs, sit in the chair, I say please give me the service I asked for two weeks ago, we proceed. The injector gives me extra injections that no one agreed to and makes a statement like, "there, you get extra injections and 50 cents off." I say thanks. She continues, "you know the front desk girl was just doing her job"
My response was something along the lines of "this was discussed two weeks ago, why should I have to sit while she considers giving me the discount? Everything just seems very disorganized here " The injector then tells me that I am rude. Like what? I'm just trying to get in and get out, I shouldn't have to follow up on something you offered me two weeks ago, especially after the last month and a half of trying to get in. She goes, "I hear you." And I say, thanks for hearing me, can I go now? And then she proceeds to raise her voice talking about my negative energy, on the verge of tears, and I'm just like.....please complete my treatment so I can go.
She has already injected me at this point, and goes, "I'm not touching you any more with that energy,"
I feel like I am on a 2009 episode of Punk'd
What?!?!?
Like, what do I have to do in order for you to professionally complete this service? Since when does a paying customer have to be concerned about their energy? I said nothing inappropriate at all, simply asked for the discount I had been offered. I just wanted my injections.
In my years of customer service I have never once called a person rude to their face, and I have dealt with far more rude people than myself.

That's how I felt about Teralyn at Laser Loft EVERY SINGLE time I would see her once or twice a month since I found this place. I have gotten facials all my life and have not come across a more knowledgeable, gentle, communicative, genuine, professional who is incredible at what she does (because she's been through rough skin but you could NEVER tell because her skin looks like complete glass)- since I moved to Colorado and met Teralyn. That being said, I was EXTREMELY disappointed and very caught off guard to come to my anticipated micro-channeling appointment and she was GONE. I would have never even been told if I hadn't asked first when my girl Teralyn wasn't there. This is my face and an treatment that requires me to not partake in my daily activities for 3 days it's that extensive and I was not even told before hand so that I could make the decision to continue with the service or not, I was there and it was a completely different feel. I am so disappointed in the lack of management and attention to detail here by the owners. I cannot complain about the service I received but it was nothing in comparison to Teralyn and the results she gave me with my last micro-channeling treatment - not to mention I've had a rainbow membership here with Teralyn for 6+ months. Read moreThis is my first dermaplaning treatment and I absolutely loved it! The staff is very kind and helpful. I called a few days prior with questions and they were more than happy to answer them for me. The day of my appointment, I arrived 15 min early just in case I had to fill out extra paperwork, and despite my early arrival, I did not have to wait long. Jalaah brought me upstairs not even 10 minutes after my arrival. My experience was amazing! Jalaah was thorough with the consultation and made me feel extremely comfortable. We laughed, we joked, but we also discussed all of my skin concerns as well as spoke about products that could possibly help. She gave me detailed information about each product we were using that day and what they do and promote. The cleansing was very relaxing, and the dermaplaning itself was not painful or irritating. Jalaah took her time and paid attention to my needs, and even though I had a groupon, I did not feel cheated or like I received mediocre service. At the end of the service, I was not pressured to purchase any products, packages, services, or anything of the sort, which is very important to me. I did, however, schedule my next appointment because I enjoyed this one so much! As far as products, they have quite a bit to choose from if one is interested.
