The first time I went, my nails came out great. I went back to get them done again and the girl didn’t even fully take off my previous color and never used the clear dip powder prior to putting on the color. Two days later two of my nails broke and I had to go back in. They didn’t take off the color...just layered on top of it. My nails looked like bricks. I finally found Tom who did a really good job, went to him a couple of times and was pleased. I called ahead of time the last time I went to schedule with Tom and was told they couldn’t get me in until 7PM because there was an appointment ahead of me. I showed up early and had no idea that they were closing at 7:30. I offered to leave because I never want to be that person, but they assured me that it was no problem at all. At this point I have my nails in foil with the dip being soaked off...little did I know that my nails would then be done in 15 min, color off, dip back on, and all. I know if they want to they can do a good job. They’re the ones who assured me to stay making me feel that my nails would still come out good. Afterwards, there was no dip color on the edges of my nails, the color was peeling up immediately because it couldn’t seal with it not being fully on my nails. A couple days later one of my nails fully broke and the color was chipping off of my other nails. The funny part about it was that Tom was looking at my nails, lifting them up to look at the edges, and it was apparent that he could see how bad they were. I will never go back to Paris. You don’t tell somebody to stay if you know you’re going to rush through and do a half a** job. Especially when you’ve had a...
Read moreExceptionally disappointed. After my experience today I will NEVER be back. I came here after all the rave reviews from friends and here on Google. The truth is, I think whatever used to make them great is gone.
I came in and they sat me very quickly - the problems started when it became obvious the girl who was assigned to me was VERY sick. She wore a loose mask and was heavily breathing through her mouth/constantly sniffling. I recovered from Covid a couple weeks ago and this scared me, I can’t afford to get sick again, nor do I WANT to. Covid was horrible and my lungs have yet to fully recover.
This alone made me nervous, but I didn’t want to be rude, so I kept quiet. The last straw was when she pulled out OBVIOUSLY USED TOOLS and started working on my nails. When I asked if the tools had been sanitized, she quickly ran in the back and got what looked to be a fresh set in the sealed bag, then proceeded to open them and start spraying them with some unknown substance. After that, I decided to leave.
Not only were they putting peoples overall health at risk by having someone serving customers who was OBVIOUSLY SICK, but they put peoples nail health at risk by using questionably sanitized tools. A salon a few years ago did this exact thing and I spent TWO YEARS and hundreds of dollars on treatment from a podiatrist to get rid of the fungal infection.
If you’re looking for a new nail place, STAY AWAY, unless you’re willing to risk contracting an illness or...
Read moreI liked this salon; they’re clean, quick, and affordable. They have fancier options but the regular pedicure is $25 (which I consider to be normal, despite so many other salons charging much more!). I could tell they actually sanitize their tools which is not always the case at other places (unfortunately). They have a punch card rewards program and you can tip on a credit card. However I didn’t have a great experience with my nail tech. She did in my opinion a rush job, only did one coat of polish on my toes, and hardly spent any time pumicing my callouses / rough heels which was my whole motive for getting a pedicure. She ignored me and had a generally unpleasant demeanor despite my efforts to be friendly. Other folks around me didn’t seem to have the same experience so it was probably just the one nail tech. Unfortunately I never got her name. I would probably come back, and just try to get a...
