Tuesday, July 8th, around 9:10 PM. Me and 3 other people, when to 850Froyo Ice cream shop, we decided to eat ur ice cream, outside,Three of us finished first, and I went to throw away the containers in the trash can. Since there wasn’t one outside, I went inside the shop and threw them away in the trash can there. When the last person in our group finished their ice cream, I got up to throw away the last container and tried to open the door, but it was already locked. The person in charge was mopping the floor, so I knocked on the door and pointed to show I just wanted to throw the container away. He ignored me, and I noticed there was a wooden box next to the door with empty ice cream containers, so I decided to leave mine there, since there was no other place to throw it away.
Suddenly, the person in charge of the ice cream shop came out furious, yelling at me, asking if I didn’t see that it wasn’t a trash can and demanding that I pick up my trash. I told him I had only left one container, and he started verbally assaulting me, being extremely offensive. I got scared by the way he was talking to me. My husband told him not to talk to us that way, and he also insulted him. He was so angry with us that he hit my hand, causing the ice cream container I was holding to hit me and splatter ice cream all over my clothes and face.
I think this man has an anger and aggression problem. If he did this to me, an adult, I can’t imagine what he might do to a child — especially since children are usually the ones who go to this shop. I don’t think he should be working in a place where customer service is so important. I feel traumatized by his behavior. I never expected to be treated that way. This man is a threat to...
Read moreI’m so disappointed your Asian employee at the casher. I love your place and enjoy everytime I stopped. I’ve scooped some mochi and see some BLACK MOLDS on them. Your store was kinda busy (it was around7pm), so talked the Asian boy, whispering (you don’t wanna know that to other customers) about the molds. He just saying”he opened a new package in the morning”without throw them out. I had to say “I don’t care what time you opened. There are black molds!! That’s why the mochi container is still full of mochi” He didn’t get the point. Why I whispered him, and let him know about it. Finally he threw them away.omg, it took forever. I was at casher to pay mine, the boy was still telling me when he opened the package….I REALLY DONT CARE THAT!. My frozen yogurt was melted in my cup while this situation. IF the boy just sitting at the casher all the time, you better to train him. Never seen his smile or heard “thank you” from him every time I was there. ...
Read moreWe were looking for dessert while it was raining and my wife found this place doing Google searches and man did she come across a gem! I was very excited to see that there is Froyo here! The place was very clean with an abundance of flavors and toppings. Miss Crystal that manages the place is a rockstar! She was very friendly and informative about the shop and things to do while staying in Destin. As a traveler, I love being able to interact with shop owners to find out what the locals do and Miss Crystal went above and beyond! I got the tart and raspberry swirl and it was amazing. One cool thing I noticed here is that their chocolate syrup is in a warmer which is a nice twist being able to make yourself an actual hot fudge Sunday. My dad doesn't usually get excited about dessert places but he enjoyed being here allot. If you want some amazing froyo while in Destin, 850 Froyo is where you need to go. We are definitely planning another stop while we...
