Emerald Coast Center — Attraction in Destin

What happened here?

This place is a jerky strip mall that boasts a Dollar Tree, and a Bealls (and outlet- like a local TJ Maxx)... and a bunch of vacant stores that appear to have been damaged by a fire or hurricane several years ago.

There’s a Caribbean themed small carry out type restaurant and then a jewelry store that resembles a pawn shop.

This center seems to mostly exist for traffic to shortcut through on the way to Walmart next door.

It’s prime real estate but WHERE ARE THE SHOPS?

No clue why this place would have a five star rating other than fake reviews from owner or friends. Put in some decent stores people could actually use and you’d be on to something in this vacation area.

If you’re a tourist- you’ll probably just pass thru on your way to Walmart. Nothing to see...

I love dollar tree ...but they don't keep shelves stocked. I don't know if it's because of the economy stuff going on. The employees are always friendly at all of the stores I visit. I was at urgent care. Depending on how many people are in the waiting room like I was waiting for 3 hours. You have pain can't leave. Their were a lot of people there that day Feb. 21st. Clean place. Once they seen me. Nurses was friendly explained what I had & when for prescription. I would go again...
