Unfortunately I have encountered problem after problem with the this gym from the very beginning of my membership.
Only giving it one star because I did enjoy my personal training sessions and the facility itself.
However, it is NOT worth it when they have consistently tried to charge me hidden fees, lie about mis-charging, and have poor customer service when it comes to any of these issues. Funny thing is they will have excellent customer service when you sign up for your membership or personal training but if you have a question about random charges on your bill or want to stop personal training their customer service goes out the window.
First problem I had was when I originally signed up they pushed me to get the towel service and hydro chair service. They said that it would be absolutely changeable if I decided later I didnāt want it, I simply tell them to take that extra part off my membership account. Well about a month in I tried the hydro massage out and realized itās not worth it, I also never used towels there, so I spoke with a lady at the desk and she said she would take it off no problem. A month later I was still being charged for it so I called up there and they said sorry it seems to still be on here (guess the other lady just didnāt even bother?) and they assured me it was taken off and I wouldnāt be charged anymore. Well 11 months later Iām still being charged an extra $20 a month for something I never use and have asked multiple times to take off my account.
My card number on file had expired because I had a fraud alert on it so I had to get a new card. I forgot to update it on my account so once I realized that month hadnāt been paid I expected a late fee which I understand cause I forgot to update it. But after I paid it in full I noticed about two months ago that I was getting multiple, random, larger charges than just a late fee from them I was confused and concerned. I called the gym to speak with someone which the first time I they told me only a manager could talk to me about it and he was in a meeting but he would call me as soon as he was out of the meeting within an hour or so. Never got a call back. Then I called back the next day, explained that I never heard back and need to speak with someone about these charges. The girl at the desk tried to look it up but said she could only see some of my account and was confused too. Then she said only someone over membership accounts would be able to speak with me and that person was busy at the moment but would be sure to call me back by the end of the day. Still no call. I then wrote an email explaining my frustration and lack of customer service, I simply just wanted to talk with someone about what these charges were about and get them refunded. Then I quickly got a call from the manager when I was at work so he left a voicemail. I explained that my work hours are different and it was hard to call the gym when they were open so email was best. Still no reply from the manager.
This is a nice gym with some nice personal trainers. But overall the operations are very sketchy, unprofessional, and they just have poor customer service. I would double check my bill and accounts anytime you do business with them.
*UPDATE Five months later and I am still having issues with this place. I continued getting charged for personal training sessions which I had stopped, confirmed with two employees that the personal training sessions had stopped because I no longer wanted those services, yet they continue to charge me for months. Now months later I check my account and see they randomly charged me $250!!! This is five months after clearing all the charges last time, them apologizing to me, refunding some of the charges and saying they will make sure this doesn't happen again. Every single time I have called, the manager is busy or always in a meeting and they promise they will call me back. I've had to follow up multiple times to ever get through to the right person or get an answer. DO NOT...

Nobody want to hear that or see all those damn wrinkles. Time to find a new gym. This is becoming the new project gym.

Getting filthier in here. Now, they tell me they have a tracker in their towels, and I didn't return my towel on Aug 5th. I told them if they have a tracker in the towel then they know where the towel is and that I don't have a towel. Nobody want thes Insanity. But I will be filing a BBB complaint if they dont remove this crap from my account.
New management is taking care of business again. I hope they fix the sauna soon tho. This place was starting to decline Dec of last year and Jan of this year but I came back and I see a major difference.
Update June 20th 2024 2 stars. Mens bathroom showerheads are like 1 inch diameter. Most showers are 3 inch spread to 5 inch spread.
This is like these save money on water but it really does it because people take longer showers since the water pressure is so low.
Why is that important?
It's important because now everyone's hair which is very disgusting will not rinse out of the shower.
Everyone's diety soap from their bodies when they took a shower will not rinse out of the shower and is sitting in the shower when a new person enters the shower. The water pressure seems low but it's more the one inch diameter of the shower head. Very disgusting and I reported to management last week.
Nothing done so far.
The shower heads need to be larger. If they can't afford $30 per shower head for five or six shower heads I will donate $100.
This is very disgusting. His hair in every shower and soap from the last two people that took showers because the water will not spread far enough to rinse out the floor completely. This is very unsanitary and very disgusting. I like the gym and I hope they do...

Now, my year contract is supposed to end May 11th and they are PROHIBITING me from cancelling without paying $59, even though I put the request in on April 11th. 30 days before my May 11th billing. They are claiming that it is not 30 days before the billing cycle, because now they are choosing to bill me on the 10th of May instead of the usual 11th. Mind you, I have put in requests to cancel my membership months ago, so they were fully notified that I wanted to cancel my membership and did not want to go past the 12 months. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL of their customer service is EMAIL ONLY and it takes them DAYS TO RESPOND. I put in my request on the 11th they responded on the 15th. THIS IS A SCAM and likely fraud. If youāre have already joined, good luck getting out without paying the absurd $59 fee plus next billing cycle.
The gym itself pretty decent. They have nice machines and a pretty nice layout. I pay $40 a month for massage chairs and towel service, BUT IT IS NOT WORTH IT. The massage chairs SMELL LIKE FEET, because they do not wash them! And the towels are hit or miss, but they're not always super clean, and you can see in the pictures I posted. Also, they do not clean the jacuzzi, so much scum and muck floating around. You also cannot bring guests. You cannot downgrade your membership.
In conclusion, the staff at OLF are not very forthcoming about the membership contract and their cancellation policy, which makes me question the ethical integrity of this business.
