went with two of my closest friends, everything was nice but the studio barley had any pottery pieces. The staff did not even let us know about stencils or anything, just were on their phones the whole time. also it would of been a 4 star experience but they lost or broke one of my friends pieces. we called 4 times no one answered. one of the employees told me they think an employee misplaced it. then the manager stated it was because the paint was “chipping” and they just couldn’t get it look right, then offered me a “free”session to make up for it . it’s not really free when i paid 55$ for a piece and a session and ended up with no piece. then when i did a rightfully owned charged back because i don’t have the piece i paid for the lady first claimed i couldn’t get my refund. was combative then finally agreed.
also been reading the comments seems like the workers are trying to bury negative comments by claiming they can’t find them in the system. just to be safe my reservation was made for July 31st 6:00PM under...
Read moreWhile the employees were all very friendly, they need to be trained more. Went in with a group of friends and first of all we couldn’t pay for our own pieces separately.. that is a HUGE downside. Gratuity is added on automatically because of this which was annoying. Don’t get me wrong I have zero problem tipping, and I would’ve, but forcing one person to take the bill just to force your auto tip on them? Not cool. They also all gave us different instructions on what to do which was VERY confusing. One told us to write something on a ticket, another said no do this that’s wrong… very contradicting with one another. The employees during our time there were helpful, but gave us wrong colors too. We even asked to confirm and they assured us the glaze would change color when it was fired, yea it didn’t. Lol Not the worst thing in the world.. but at least know the colors at...
Read moreIts a cute thing to do with the kids but it can get pretty pricey quick as the items themselves are expensive. It does however include the paint, firing, and glazing and such.
Being the fall we did some pumpkins. They have a nice variety of different items as well as a good amount of colors.
You sit down as a set up station with everything you need laid out. Pick your item and colors and get to work.
After you are done, they sign your name on it and date it. It takes about a week to fire and glaze it.
They didnt always explain things well. I knew to put 3 coats of paint on when i overheard them explain it to someone else. But the kids had fun and were happy with their work which is the desired outcome.
They also had cookies, water, and hot chocolate available for the pumpkin...
