To all those speculative of Fakhriddin and anyone at this location, I have to say I don’t know what they’re talking about. I have had nothing but exceptional service and highest level of customer service at this location. Omar and his team deliver nothing less than stellar performance and exceptional quality! There are a lot of people posting about “not honoring warranty” or “calling people liars” but I can assure you that this team does everything they can do within reason to help whenever and however possible. I have been to many ZAGG locations across the country, but I feel out of home when I’m not able to deal with Fakhriddin, Leo or Omar.
To those who post about so-called “lying”, I have yet to experience a situation where anyone here lies. They provide upfront information before your purchase and ENCOURAGE you to come back with any questions or concerns so they can make it right! There are a lot of people who want to try and pass off non-ZAGG protectors as official ZAGG protectors and are seeking “warranty replacements” or ask for one protector to be exchanged and placed on a completely different device that is NOT of equal size. The warranty reads that it’s a lifetime warranty for the LIFE OF THE DEVICE. This means that if you swap your device for a different model or purchase a new one, don’t expect the warranty to continue unless you purchase a new protector.
My own personal experience speaks volumes to how this team rises above and beyond. I was having issues with my Apple iPhone 11 Pro and found that it needed to be sent in for repair at Apple. I was told that I should remove both case and screen protector before sending it in. Ultimately, I was given a replacement device from Apple. When it arrived, I brought it, and the previous screen protector and case to this location. Not only did they replace the protector under warranty, but offered a suggestion of a different case (Gear4) that ALSO comes with its own warranty! I have been rocking the Gear4 case (which I happily purchased) and replacement screen protector ever since!
At the end of the day, please understand that ZAGG operates and owns an online presence. Understand that you are FORTUNATE to have kiosk businesses like these selling these protectors that you can physically see, touch ask questions about (with a knowledgeable staff) and hold in your hand prior to purchase. You won’t get that from looking on a website. Let’s all be a little more understanding and thankful that even during the COVID-19 pandemic, this team STAYED OPEN for the benefit of US, the customer. Let’s also be mindful that businesses are allowed to make money so they can STAY in business. This all being said, I believe this staff and location are absolutely stellar and with the hundreds of transactions I have done at this location alone, I humbly ask you to give them a shot...you...
Read moreLet me start off by saying Arda at Menlo Mall was AMAZING! I went to Bridgewater Zagg location yesterday and I should have known from just how the gentleman demeanor at the stand that I should have just said forget it and wait to go to Menlo. BUT BECAUSE I HATE A CRACKED SCREEN, I went against my better judgement. Bill was RUDE and NASTY. He kept saying that I needed to purchase my screen protector from there to be able to get my cracked one replaced and when I asked when did the policy changed because I have been getting Zagg screen protectors for over 6 years. He stated that I must have bought it from somewhere else (other than Zagg) and I stated that when i got my new phone I got it from Verizon just as I have done for ever other previous phone. I even logged into my Zagg account where I registered it to show him. He finally takes off my screen protector and tells me that what I have isn't Zagg and that he is going to give me the basic one not the VISIONGUARD + like I had. At that point I was so livid and disgusted at how he kept touching his nose and my phone and the entire situation that I asked for my phone back and he slide it across the counter and loudly said that i bought it from somewhere else that’s why I was frustrated with him. First of all, I would never claim to purchase something I didn't, Second I could have easily ordered a replacement from Zagg and saved myself the headache of that entire experience and third not only did I feel disrespected and insulted, I was downright embarrassed by the entire ordeal! I not only pay for a brand I pay for the customer service. When I went to Menlo today, I shared my experience Arda and not only did he empathize and apologize for the ordeal, he fixed my screen. HE informed my I could contact Otterbox about my case that was banged up from the fall that cracked my screen protector. Arda was the face of Zagg that I have grown to know and appreciate and the standard of customer service I expect and why I have stuck with the product for years. Needless to say I will NEVER go back to Bridgewater Zagg and will ONLY...
Read moreI had an extremely disappointing experience with Zagg. I brought my phone in on 7/14 because I had dropped it in water, and the lightning port stopped working. Everything else on the phone was functioning perfectly. They quoted me $150 for the repair, which I paid.
However, less than two weeks later, on 7/28, the screen started displaying green bars, making it nearly unusable. It would intermittently go completely white as well. I contacted them, and they asked me to bring it back in.
I took it to another repair shop and they said they probably installed it badly and the connection is probably off due to the initial installation and I should go back to Zagg.
When I did, they opened the phone and claimed it was due to water damage from taking the phone into the shower, suggesting that steam had entered the device. I found this explanation ridiculous since I’ve never had an issue like this in over 13 years of using iPhones and regularly bringing them into the bathroom while showering.
It was clear to me that they either improperly sealed the phone or used inferior parts. Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed me and said I needed a new screen replacement because the water damage from me taking my phone into the shower broke the display connection. They offered a "discounted rate" of another $150, claiming they weren't making any money on it and encouraged me to look up the prices myself. They also offered an option for a cheaper screen (not 60Hz) at $150 or a 120Hz screen for $170, which I found outrageous.
When I mentioned that I wanted to seek a second estimate, they informed me that they had already reassembled the phone with the new parts, essentially leaving me no choice. The whole situation felt like a hustle, with Zagg providing subpar repairs, charging exorbitant prices for inferior parts, and the cost of their faulty service would fall into me being down $300.
Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere, or just go to Apple. Zagg is full of dishonest scam artists offering substandard...
