This area has gone downhill over the last few years. It used to be a nice place - I lived there for 4 years. But the homeless have invaded the area. And they are not (most of them) a nice kind of homeless people. It's a dangerous place to walk through nowadays and most people try to avoid it. I moved away back in 2017 after a homeless guy (who had broken into the apartment complex and was living in the stairwells for some time) tried to break into my apartment at about 11PM. It could be a nice area again if they cracked down on the vagrants. It's an accessible area, right by the train amd walmart. Sadly, a lot of the shops that used to be there, are gone: Blondies bar, GNC, 24 hour fitness. Bead store, primary care dr office and some others are all gone. Maybe they should just knock it down...
