Ok, I can not say enough wonderful things about this Needlepoint shop!!!!! I've been Needlepointing for about fifty years (and I HATE anyone knowing my age). Sad to admit that I have not done this craft in about sixteen years. Well I had a whole day to kill in Denver so I Googled this type of shop. I was uncertain that they even still exist! This shop rocked my world and reignited my love of Needlepoint. I have been to many shops of this type but none come close. There are hundreds of hand painted canvases, thousands of fibers to pick from. Some may be overwhelmed but not anyone who loves this art. I could go on and on. Let me say this, if you have ever considered this type of enjoyment, but don't know how, take a class. They offer many of all levels. They have plenty of staff to help or after chosing a canvas they will pull the best fibers for your selected project and you can go back to pick up. They also offer a finishing service as well. So we all know I loved this gem of a shop but I must add another element to my review. Part of my enjoyment, because I'm disabled, was sitting and talking with the very elegant lady who started this shop. Now I will NOT tell her age but she is in her '80s. It was a joy to here her tell me about over fifty years in this business and some great memories. So it's Mother, Daughter, and Granddaughter as well as a great staff running I shop I can not wait to...
Read moreMy second review and I can't say enough wonderful things about this shop! If I lived closer, I would volunteer just to be with these wonderful people and to help the customers. Actually, they would make me pay them!
I've been several times, and each time, it looks to me like it's all new inventory. The last visit was the 10th of February. I've been needlepointing for 45 years. Well I've been to shops all over the US and I was lucky to see something that I never saw before. It was a canvas that had to be five feet by seven feet!!!! When I asked what the lady doing the work was going to use it for she told me a headboard for her bed! A great idea! I'd never live long enough to complete such an undertaking but I'd love to give it a try!!!!! I'm planning on living to be one hundred and five, lol.
Parking is great, prices are fair, inventory is beyond compare, staff is knowledgeable and your never made to feel rushed. You are made to feel like family. Check them out even if you have never done needlepoint. My guess you will want to learn. Thank you...
