I wish I had met Leslie Yale back when I first started quilting! Fortunately, better late than never. I took the Passport to the Mountains class at Peak to Peak Stitching (August 30, 2025) and it was excellent in all regards. Leslie Yale was wonderful and witty with years of quilting excellence to share with us. She was well-prepared! Easels with stitching examples spanned the room. She taught us all about half-square triangles and quarter half-square triangles, and how to easily intersect the fabrics with her method of "nesting". She even provided alternate quilt lay-outs for the mirror image quilt with the quilt taught in the class. The kit for the class was expertly curated in the beautiful colors of Stonehenge fabrics and perfectly cut as well (packaged nicely with the pattern in color). As I understand, this class was the final in a series of beginning quilting that she taught. I'm no beginner, but I benefited greatly from her teaching methods, and will sign up again, when the series resumes in the near future. As for the shop, it is a gem. The staff is warm and welcoming with whatever you want or need. It is flooded with colors and quilts of mostly natural, earthy landscapes. The shop makes you feel good when you walk in. The classroom was picturesque and well-lit with large windows looking out in the surrounding landscape. Coffee, tea, chocolate included! I highly recommend this shop and Leslie Yale. Thank you, Peak to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to the āPeak to Peak Stitchingā on June 6th 2025. I walked there and couldnāt see where the shop was. I called them and told them where I was and they told me they were on the second floor of the bank right in front of me. I was so thankful I called and that they answered so quickly. If they hadnāt I probably would have walked on.
The store is incredible. I believe they are more known for their beautiful fabrics but seeing how Iām not quite good at sewing yet I went to the yarn section. It seems very nice. Iāve only been to one other yarn shop and I felt like the prices were fair for their quality. They had some beautiful colors! I doubt Iāll ever be stopping through again but if I do I will make sure to visit there. All of the ladies were super helpful and pleasant. They have very cheerful demeanors but by no means fake. I definitely would recommend going here. It will be worth your time and a lot of fun! There is nothing like getting yarn on a trip so that once you make something you can remember that trip! Also once I knew the shop was on the second floor I looked up and saw their beautiful sign. Hope...

There was an error in my order, that was quickly resolved with a phone call. I'll admit it was a pleasant conversation with a quick solution. This has been an experience I will treasure. I'm looking forward to a trip to Estes Park to check out this outstanding shop. My special thanks to all for there superior service. 10-19-25. UPDATE. I just took a class at Peak to Peak. I'm amazed at what a fantastic class. Jan the instructor was knowledgeable, helpful and wanted everyone in the class to be successful. The ladies in the shop were the best support you could ask for. This shop is well worth the trip, fabric that I've not found anywhere else. Patterns and kits that are to die for. I can't rave enough about the team, shop and teachers enough. I'm looking forward to another trip up. I would highly recommend taking a class here, there class room, super clean, lots of space, your not cramped. The view out the window is worth seeing.
