2023 Bride - 5/5 stars! We celebrated our wedding at the newly renovated Stanley Hotel Pavilion, and it was a fantastic and seamless experience. The wedding department has undergone a revamp, and everyone was genuinely a pleasure to work with! Crystal and Tripp, the venue directors, were unequivocally the best and most responsive team. They maintained a can-do attitude and not only accommodated every request but were also exceptionally prompt with all their follow-ups. They sincerely wanted us to have the wedding of our dreams. A special shout-out goes to Crystal; she is amazing and felt like a friend throughout the process! With a 280-person wedding, the venue was spacious, flowed well, and was just all around fun. It really is an all-in-one venue. I didn't want guests shifting throughout the day. The flow from the ceremony straight into the cocktail hour, upstairs for dinner, and then back down for dancing was AMAZING. The bridal suite for getting ready was a perfectly added touch and made for a relaxing morning, as once we were there, we didn't have to worry about moving. Finally, the showstopper was their "garage door" of windows in front of the aisle, when our guests saw that open up, it truly was a movie moment. It was an incredible place to get married, and I genuinely wish I could do it all over again. :) Book now and save yourself from looking...
Read moreAfter our original venue closed down due to a fire, we were scrambling to find a new venue for our wedding that was in three months. We will forever be appreciative to the Stanley Pavilion for partnering with us and making our wedding day an unforgettable day in such a breathtaking place. The Pavilion is absolutely stunning venue, with a special fusion between nature and sophisticated, slick architecture. Our guests continue to talk about how gorgeous every detail of the venue was, from the outdoor cocktail hour area, to the pond, entrance, restrooms, the ballroom and the balcony with spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains (that’s where we put our bar actually)! In fact, we barely had any décor because the space was beautiful as is. We are forever thankful that we got to celebrate our nuptials in such a gorgeous spot. The only thing I would mention is to make sure someone pays attention to the contract and billing details, especially as it relates to any consumption type bar the night of; ours got very complicated and confusing at certain points, especially mistakes on the tallying of our consumption bar. We did end up getting a significant refund, but that was only because our wedding coordinator caught the errors. However, besides that, it was...
Read moreWent to see Jeff Warburton for a great comedy show last night. The Pavillion is a beautiful venue! So why only 3 stars? Simple: The acoustics are awful due to resonance which is the reflection of sound in a room. The room needs to have acoustic panels which would help. Perhaps the biggest problem however is that for this show they had two speakers facing the entertainers. The problem is that those speakers are pointed directly at the glass wall which does nothing but reflect the sound right back at the audience. This reflected sound is slightly behind the original sound creating a muddled sound. Had the speakers been placed behind the entertainers and pointed at the audience I believe there would have been less resonance. Too bad as all other aspects of this...
