Their website says "Superior service, personalized attention" and I could not disagree more. Once we were seated, our waitress asked what we wanted to drink, and my husband and I both ordered coffee and water. She brought out coffee, no water, so I asked if we could have water when we saw her a few minutes later. She said yes, and brought water for me only. I gave it to my husband, because I wasn't sure how long she would be, and he drinks a lot of water. We saw her a few minutes later and my husband asked if we could get another glass of water, and we ordered our food. Our food came out and we didn't receive refills on our coffee, or my husband's empty water glass. The food was just sat down and they quickly walked away. I gave my husband my water glass, because again, he drinks a lot of water, and we didn't see our waitress for quite some time. She came back once we were almost finished with our food, and asked if everything was ok, we asked for refills and finished eating. We were given the refills and then they came by and gave us the check and started clearing our table...making it very clear by the way the hostess looked at us, that she wanted us to hurry up. We finished our coffee and went to pay the bill. The hostess got the ticket entered and when my husband entered his card to pay, she walked away to clear the table. Keep in mind...there was a person clearing tables, so I'm not sure why she felt the need to be so rude. There was one couple waiting, and she had already gotten everything off of our table except our coffee cups and water glasses. Service is definitely not superior, and the attention is anything but personalized. Their slogan should...

We walked into town from The Stanley and stopped by for breakfast. When we arrived, they were full to capacity so we had to get on the waitlist via an iPad in the lobby. When they have space to seat you, you will receive a text and also the cashier will come outside to call you. When we were seated, we were greeted immediately and asked if we wanted to place drink orders. They do not have any specialty coffee, just regular cream and sugar. I ordered the peppermint hot chocolate and requested it hot, only to be told that it comes from a machine and that they have no way of making it any hotter. After taking our orders, the waiter left and did not bring water or silverware until after we received our hot chocolate and coffee....about 15 minutes later. I ordered the chilaquiles and my husband ordered biscuits and gravy. While waiting for our food, there was a waiter taking food back and forth to the covered patio and I guess he got tired of constantly opening/closing the door so he left it propped open even though it was 30 degrees outside. My lukewarm hot chocolate was not helping the situation, so my husband got up and closed the door. We finally received our food and while mine was good, my husband did not enjoy his as the dish should have been called gravy and biscuits. His plate was completely filled with gravy and after a couple of bites, he...

The cafe was clean and nice. my waitress very nice and great at her job. the food was pretty good. looked good was a good amount and tasted great so I felt they were off to a great start until the bill. i asked for a little bit of gravy to go on my skillet and for 2.0 oz of gravy $1.99 pretty extreme. odd being my skillet with bacon sausage ham onion and peppers potatoes cheese and two eggs was a great price at $10.00 so keep to the menu don't ask for a side of something. where i do agree you should pay for extras but $2.00 for 2 oz of country gravy that cost around $5.00 for 164oz of product seems a little out of touch enough that I won't return sad becauce up to that point i felt this was a great place fair on menu price. please let your guest knows if they want something on the side it will have a great price to it. example for owner most cafes will charge and extra $1-2 for an extra hamburger patty but normal don't charge you $2.00 for a 2oz side of mayo which does cost more than country gravy. either way petty or not. I thank you for clean cafe great food and a great waitress. I...

We arrived in the middle of the morning and there were three of us for breakfast. The parking lot was fairly full, but we did not have any difficulty finding a spot. We put our name on the list while we were on our way, so we only had a couple minutes to wait when we arrived. The staff seemed a little frenzied, but it was busy and they were trying to keep up. It was cold out, but the patio has heaters that seemed to help keep it comfortable. The menu had typical but solid breakfast options. When the food came out the plates had decent portions and everything looked fresh. The eggs were good and the sausage links were really good. I thought the hash browns were better than most places, but the toast was a little sad. Our server was fairly attentive, but there wasn't anything about the service that was impressive. The space was fairly loud since it was completely full. Overall, I thought it was a good breakfast and I would definitely come back if in the area for breakfast food.

We are tourists staying in the area and decided to try this Cafe before going hiking. They weren't too busy, we seated ourselves per the lady's instructions. The waitress came by a few minutes later for our drink order then I had to wave her down to order food 10 minutes after getting our drinks. Only 2 of us dining, chicken strips and a burger with fries, waited 15 minutes. I had ordered avocado and mushrooms added to my burger. Did not receive the avocado. Had asked for extra napkins. Never got them. Ran out of ranch but she didn't return before we finished eating, until giving us the tab. I noticed the avocado charge and extra charge for the mushrooms, because the way she rang it in. I usually tip well, based on service. Today I skipped the tip because of all of the aforementioned issues. Only staying a few more days, but definitely not returning here.

Visited mountain home cafe during the week and it was a good experience Arrived around late breakfast early lunch and there was plenty of parking available. They are located within a small strip mall so the parking options are plenty Upon arrival we were asked to wait a few short minutes as they were fairly busy . Looking around as I waited I did see they also had an outside patio which was busy too . Menu has all the classic breakfast options but I chose to go with a lunch option as it was after 11 am already I chose a wrap called Santa Fe with chicken and it was good . Served with a side of kettle chips . Wrap is nice balance of flavors and not heavy Service was quick and staff worked fast , despite being very busy Nice place for a good fast lunch
