Where do we start. SHERATON you still yet amaze me even after years better I still craves you guys experience. Parking is done through a 3rd party service not hotel. They have plenty signs around property with rates depending on the number hours for your visit. Walking into the Lobby we was Greeted by Tyler a amazing, professional, and trustworthy attendant on our 1st night stay at the beginning. VERY CLEAN, QUIET and ORGANIZED! ITs not to big but not to little. A nice size hotel!! He checked us in got us the room, made sure we had everything we needed, answer all questions regarding the 2 free complimentary water, parking an breakfast, pool hours. We had one hippcup but Amber that evening handle it so smooth where it was taken care within minutes. The suite is definitely a plus here. Great for families, Date night, girls night out. Comes with 2 tvs, one in one room and one in like the living room, couch, small refrigerator, couple of tables. Pair house shoes. Great smelling good shampoo, bodywash and lotion. Also had 2 cute wine cups underneath a napkin. Great morning view. As the bed right in front of the window so once open you see a great outside view.(makes you feel out of town but still in town type of vibe) they have a sheraton robe to use if you want to purchase one they have that option as well in the closet. They Have a safe for important documents. 2 views one in living room and one in main room. Great size bed, no lumps, very comfortable and soft with clean white sheets.Charging stations available downstairs not sure if it's a cost but its convenience if you leave it and tesd having to go buy one they have you taken care of. A printer if needed right next to it. They also have there on food market with snacks, necessities for things you might had left(cost but its available right at your finger tips). Drinks Orange, Apple and a fruit passion. They also had the table set up with everything you need as far as plates, bowl, cup and coffee mug and utensils. For the price, service, the amenities, the space and its kind of a "ONE'stop shop you can't beat it. Nobody is roaming the place, very "SAFE" LOCATION...its also by alot of great food places, mall and activities within distances as well right off the freeway. I had NOT one complaint that they couldn't fix! This my I believe 2/3 time coming here for my anniversary and each time I'm still amazed as it's my 1st time experiencing it. I know there's bad reviews but I'm a CHEF and my hubby is retired from the military. It's way worst in Dallas that's 4 stars but still missing a few of the things that they are offering at this location which is a plus. As always depends on the day, hour and person in charge the day of your experience! But the last few time I was Here I been truly blessed.! Definitely will be back!! Check out photos...this a real review. Don't pass it up if you're on a budget but still want to feel the luxury...
Read moreVery disappointed by far the worst experience I have ever had at a property and I have stayed at many.
We arrived on Sunday and checked out on Tuesday and upon check out the supervisor âRoseâ I believe was her name was Extremely rude when I expressed a concern I had. We were in town celebrating my daughterâs seventh birthday She was super excited to spend her birthday money at the Galleria to get her a couple of labubus and jewelry from Claireâs which we did. After our room was serviced, we noticed that her Popmart bags were gone along with all items inside. When this was brought to the supervisors attention her first response was what is your room number which I gave her and she told me that it was not my room number because she did not have anyone staying in that room. At this time she had called house keeping and told them what I was saying and very rudely said she is saying that this # is the room she stayed in but I have no one in that room so let me find out what room she was really in.(Mind you we had not even checked out yet) She then proceeded to ask my name which I gave her and once she looked it up, she realized that the room number I gave her was correct. Housekeeping then said they will look into it not even two minutes go by and housekeeping is back on the phone and told her who cleaned the room and that they didnât remove a bag or bags so she doesnât understand what happened. So my next question was so youâre telling me my bags just disappeared? and her response was well the individual thay she is saying cleaned your room has been here for 14 years so thereâs no way that she wouldâve taken it out of the room. Then she proceeded to asked me where my bags were located in the room once I told her one was on a table and one was on the desk her response was well if they look like trash, then they couldâve got taken out in the trash. So asked her you me to tell me that the bags with toys and a bag full of jewelry just were mistaken for trash. Her response was I made the call I could make and now itâs out of my hands. I asked to speak to a manager and she told me that they were busy and wouldnât come out to speak with me. I had an appointment to get to so I was unable to wait and left a phone number for them to Call me. A Call was made, and I unfortunately was unable to get to it. So when I called this hotel back, I was told that an email had been sent to me and thatâs how we would correspond from here on out. Once I was finally able to check my emails , the response I received was I will give you 20,000 points but thatâs Itâs all we can do. I accept the bags are gone and if it was an honest mistake I understand that as well I just feel that the way things were handled was very unprofessional. What really upset me though is it broke my little girlâs heart when she saw the supervisor didnât seem to care at all about what happened. I will replace her birthday money and items and make things better on my end. All I am asking is please work on your customer service and try being a little more compassionate when a...
Read moreI stayed here a few months ago and did not have a great experience. The manager reached out to me and apologized and asked if I would come back again.
I didn't think I ever would but sometimes, just like people, hotels have bad days too.
This time around I enjoyed my stay much more than the first time. There were still some issues but my main complaints were over the staff and their behavior last time. This time, however, the staff performed at a much higher level than before. Proper greetings, positive engagement, even when giving negative news they did it in such a manner that it didn't feel that way. A really great improvement.
The hotel lobby and public areas are newly redone and are very fresh and modern. The rooms are very nice but the bathrooms are ridiculously small though. With out a major redo this hotel is just stuck with it's tiny bathrooms - the kind where you have to stratal the toilet to get out of the way of the door to close it. Is it fair to criticize a hotel for tiny bathrooms? Probably not, but the owners should think about a more extensive renovation next time to bring some luxury to the bathrooms.
My room was on the top floor (club level) directly in front of the elevator. Not so great of a location. The drone of the elevator penthouse was constant and come morning the activity in front of the elevators was very noticeable. I have stayed here before and never had that problem, however, so I think it is exclusive to that room location.
My platinum status brought me no upgrade. I have stayed at this hotel twice since it was remodeled and several times prior to that and have only been upgraded once. Until this visit and the one time I was upgraded to a junior suite, they never acknowledged my platinum status other than the paper jacket around my key card. This time he verbally acknowledged my platinum status and politely apologized that he could not upgrade me because they were very full, a true statement since there was only one spot left in parking lot upon my arrival.
One of my pet peeves with this hotel is that it doesn't have many suites. It has 14 junior suites and one presidential suites, which they try and charge a laughable $800 a night for. It is only double the size of standard room (500 sq.ft. if that) and even when it is 11:00 PM at night and it is still listed on the website for sale, they will never put anyone in it as a platinum guest.
I have to say, sans upgrades and room location, my stay here this time around was MUCH more enjoyable this time around.
I will give it another stay in the...
