I normally have had pleasant experiences as I have worked in The Galleria on and off for years. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case when I visited to pick up bagels for my team. I generally do online pickups and originally tried to pick up some bagels via the website and got an error message. So I went in to get help at the counter. A Man by the name of James approached me and I told him I’m trying to get a dozen bagels but it doesn’t seem to work online. He said passive aggressively that its because it’s a catering item. As a customer I wouldn’t know what exactly constitutes as a catering item and also the website didn’t state anywhere that it was a catering item but nonetheless, I was in person at that point so that comment was unnecessary or he could’ve nicely educated me as the customer. Then he asked if I’d like them toasted in very dry manner in his tone. It was very clear he didn’t want to be bothered with me so I just tell him they don’t have to be toasted. He then asks me what flavors I wanted and lets me tell him what I wanted to just say they don’t have it. He also made it a point to condescendingly correct me for a calling a plain bagel and regular bagel. Which again extremely unnecessary. I finally decide to just tell him thanks and just leave because he seemed like he was only interested in making me feel stupid versus actually helping me. As I’m trying to leave he’s still making snarky comments trying to correct me on the names of the bagel. Read moreCame in around lunch time and it was busy which is understandable, but as I am placing my order after we tried about 2 times to put our order in we noticed the machine was giving us a error which is fine , we let a employee who worked there know it was giving us trouble and was not taking the number code. He said he would be back and never came back. After someone else finished off the other machine we went to that side but wanted to let someone know that machine was not working so they can put an out of order sign on it, but at this point the crowd had gone and when I informed the employee he seemed uninterested in me letting them know they machine was broken and did not even respond. The lack of customer service shown is unacceptable. As a business owner myself when my clients come in , I would never no matter how busy it may be ima make sure my attentiveness to my customers is there always. I went in Monday maybe around 3 or 3:30 pm for my break which is only 30 mins I was standing behind a man that was being helped who ordered several coffees, it’s was 3 employees but one was leaving. the girl who was checking people out did not acknowledge me or the customers that was behind me, she proceeded to finish making all the coffees meanwhile it was still an employee free to help but also did not acknowledge us finally the girl came back to take my order and she didn’t apologize for the wait or anything I just gave her my order and that was that I ordered a BBLT w cheddar and regular mayo instead of the other mayo I did not have no cheddar on my order but since I’ve waited so long i had no time to make a complaint in person my break was nearly over I forgot to order a drink so I grab one before I left and tried to check out the employee took the whole register out and walked to the back this was...
