The Sip Room — Restaurant in Fayetteville

I like the vibe of the place, the decor is nice. I feel like the customer service could be a little bit better, the lady at the counter wasn’t as welcoming as I would have liked her to be. I love the different options they have for small bites & I love the flights & how you can choose, the portion size is great.

However, I have to give a 3 star review because there is no way in any place that it should be okay to up the charge on a bottle of wine that you can get in stores for much cheaper. There is a wine that they sell that is sold in stores and online for $12 and they priced it at $40 a bottle, this is a small bottle of wine, not the huge bottle. It was disappointing because I came here thinking this would be an easy access location to purchase the wine I love by the bottle and it was convenient since I was there but when she told me the price my eyes flew out of my head. I was so excited to come grab it since it was my birthday & I was going to buy a bunch of them but absolutely not. I think that is absolutely ridiculous & greedy especially when this is a black owned business. I understand there are shipping fees for what they order but that is extremely unreasonable and basically robbery to their customers.

I would never in my right mind purchase a bottle from them for that price.

Other than that this is a place I might go to every once in a while but...

Beautiful place ! However , when we got there one of the workers was sitting down talking and cAlling for another worker from the back to come help us. She had to call her about 3 times. ( wasn’t sure why she couldn’t just help us). Shortly after some other women came in and the worker got up and immediately started helping them.

We ordered and then we sat down. My friend went in after some time to check and noticed the two ladies who came in after us was eating and drinking already ( even though we ordered before) We ordered 1 flight , one sangria , one spinach dip and one Buffalo dip and a hookah to start the evening.

After seeing they had everything she canceled out ordered cause at that point we felt like we werent going to be served as people there to spend money.

I grew up in Fayetteville and I enjoyed this place! I live in the DC/Virginia are now, so the only down side that I think is that this is overpriced. The flights at a winery are $20 for 6 different wines, with a regular wine glass in DC and Virginia. These are $23 at a shot size glass. GREAT wine though 🙂. The charcuterie board is $20. This is downtown Fayetteville. Not near DC Monuments, have professional known teams, and tourists coming every weekend. My wife and I were the only ones in there on a Saturday with great weather mid day. So the price can come down for the area, but that could be expected for where inflation is going. I just like for prices to make sense. The food, service and wine were good. So the only reason for a 4...
