I have taken my business to this Fredericksburg antique mall and clock shop for the past five years and today will be my last
I was exploring the lower level of the store and I happened to find a really good deal on these model train magazines
When I went to go pay for them I had to encounter with a VERY RUDE cashier and she asked me in a disrespectful way where I found those, I told her the booth number specifically what she asked for and then she told me where it was specifically
I was very kind to show her where I found the magazines and the price that was shown on the box for them too
When heading upstairs she called me out on it saying that I should have payed attention to where I found the magazines at specifically and she even accused me of not explaining where the items where properly even though I kindly told her where the booth number was, she even said that she didn't believe me about it too which I was very furious about it
Paying for the magazines was very frustrating as I had my debit card but didn't have any cash on me and she was very annoyed and frustrated with me
So I had to make the minimum work for my debit card by buying 2 keychains which I think were very nice
I came back to where the check out was and I explained to another lady about the situation that I encountered with and that same lady that called me out on the magazines came back and was able to help me out with the transaction
After I played for what I purchased I could tell that the same lady that rung me up had enough with me and she was even happy to see my leave
I have NEVER encountered anything like this and after this experience I had I will not be returning to this antique mall again, and I hope none of you guys encounter the same...
Read moreAs a kid, I despised antique [insert plural noun]. Cloisonné, Hummels, Gerber, anything made of wood that I couldn’t climb on, and {Heaven help me!} rows and rows and rows of the same silver, china, glass place settings… all across Our Great Country America 🇺🇸. — Yup! Summer road trips in an unairconditioned overheated station wagon coulda been awesomely wonderful, were it not for Aunt Ruth & mom doing all that antiquing! 😖 (And don’t get me started on that bucket of fried chicken bought in New Orleans which she held in her lap all the way back to Central Illinois!) 🍗
45+ years later? Ah! Different story. Different world. Different “me”. I’m gonna say… nostalgic! Why stay home to binge videos? There’s a lot out there to see & explore & learn! — And our home inside the DC Beltway has scarce nostalgia, unfortunately!
Eh, enuff said. Come, check it out! Fun, real fun, for all ages! No possible disappointments,...
Read moreI was at this facility today and this one worker in general named Lisa took my drink from me and then proceeded to drink it, this place is also very crusty musty and Dusty the workers are very disrespectful especially Lisa when I have been here other times there was this blonde little girl and I had seen Lisa pull a chair out from under her I think that Lisa should be fired. Yawls workers are also very disrespectful towards children if you do not want them to be in an antique store don’t have toys that target them.. I will never be in this facility again it is dumpy and disgusting you guys really took a loss without Teresa, she made the facility such a nice place she was kind to animals and kind ti kids and didn’t pull chairs out from other...
