So, first time ordering from Hunan Garden Chinese early Jan 2025. Was very nice, our go-to has shut down, so we've tried a few new places. Rates a solid 4.5 on the food, but not quite a 5. The crab Rangoon is the best we've had around here, as was the pork fried dumplings which were quite different from the norm, they are like jumbo dumplings cut in half and awesome. The shrimp tempura also a solid 5, but at $2.25 apiece was a bit spendy. The sweet and sour shrimp was average/on par with others we've tried, same with the Kung Pao Three Delight. Overall, very delicious. Including leftovers for lunch at work, we ate everything. $3 dollar delivery fee plus tip was an extra $10, but worth it. It was cold and nasty out. Took 35 minutes from their estimated 45, so that was nice too and everything was hot. They are within 7 miles of us. Delivery guy was super pleasant, so service/atmosphere rates a 5, although I've never been inside the place. I'll definitely order again from them and try some different menu items, and comment further. I don't comment much, unless I either really like or really hate a place. Hope...

The little Hunan on William street was always my favorite Chinese restaurant when I lived in Fredericksburg, and was the first place l looked for lunch when I came into town. While there is now a wine bar there, I was happy to discover that the owner had taken over the old Chinese buffet around the corner.

The menu has changed some in almost 20 years, and there are some really good specials on there. The lunch servings come with rice and egg roll, and you can't beat that for a $10 meal. Service was prompt, and food didn't take long to come. Good portions and good prices.

Additionally, I was really impressed with how well the owner renovated the place. She gVr it a more calm and slightly more upscale atmosphere. The old buffet was good, and I do miss those upside down umbrella-looking things that hung from the ceiling, but it looks really nice in there.

Overall, food and service is just as good as I remember from almost 16 years ago, and I will continue to visit when...

This was my first time eating here and I’m very happy with my meal. For the past few years I noticed how hard it is to find good Chinese food. I drove 20 minutes to get my meal and I don’t regret it at all. At first, I was skeptical because I didn’t want to be disappointed. I feel like every time I eat at Chinese restaurants they miss their mark. Either the chicken is too chewy, not fried hard enough, or I don’t enjoy their crab Rangoon. Everyone keeps changing their crab Rangoon to simply cream cheese and they stopped including the red sauce! Which I hate because crab Rangoon is my ultimate fav. Anyways, I would give this place a 9/10. For a general tos chicken meal with fried rice, spring roll, crab Rangoon, and a coke it costs $25. Portion size was great! They made it in a timely manner and customer service was excellent. I did a pick up order and I...

Didn't realize when you order a dish that comes with vegetables that you're actually ordering vegetables maybe with meat. Got MAYBE 5 small slivers of beef with the seshuan beef. The rest was ALL onions, peppers and carrots. Pork fried dumplings were so soggy you couldn't even tell they were fried. Beef and broccoli was broccoli with 3 or 4 pieces of beef. Fried rice was so undercooked you could hear the crunch of other people chewing. This was just horrible. Waste of almost $100. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL DONT WASTE YOUR TIME
