Over a month ago, I visited the store to ask about setting a pair of stones my son brought from Cambodia into earrings. I was advised to wait for their "remount" event, left my contact information, and was later called to book an appointment.
However, when I arrived—on time and with an appointment—I was quickly sidelined for another couple without an appointment who brought in a larger diamond for a ring setting. Despite waiting weeks, I was only shown two earring settings, one of which didn't even fit my stones. When I asked why the options were so limited, David, the associate assisting me, said, “We never know what they’re going to bring,” which was unacceptable given I had clearly communicated the stone sizes and my intent to make earrings when I booked.
It became clear this event catered primarily to larger diamond resets—not earring settings—though that was never communicated. After returning home disappointed (we live 30 minutes away), I called to express my frustration. A woman apologized and said there were many more suitable earring settings available. To my surprise, when I asked for the manager, it turned out to be David—the same person who had shown me only two inadequate options and said he’d call me Monday with catalog estimates.
The entire point of attending in person was to see setting options before committing. I was told stones could be set on the spot, which clearly wasn’t the case. Our goal was to have the earrings ready as a Mother's Day gift, but this experience fell far short of expectations. If this event is only intended for diamond resets, that should have been made clear upfront. I will stick with Quinn's...

David suggested that I have all six prongs repaired. I agreed that all of them were worn and that all six needed repair and should be done. We left our rings on Monday and my daughter picked them up on Thursday. She brought my ring to me on Saturday. WOW ! ! ! It was an awesome repair. I was very impressed with the quality of workmanship the gentleman who did the job to make my ring look better than new. Thank you. Several years ago my husband wanted to sureprise me with a horseshoe necklace. He went to Crown. They didn't have one, but a very kind lady located a horseshoe pin, she spoke with the jewelry repair gentleman, and he said he could do it, so with his experience he made the change. I was surprised, and excited when I saw the beautiful necklace. Thank you Crown and your caring employees for helping my husband, our daughter, and me through the years. Everyone is so kind, and pleasant to deal with, answering our questions, finding the hard to find items. All of you are very special, and Crown is the best place to go...
Read moreA while back my girlfriend at the time and I went into Crown Jewelers to browse engagement rings. The whole staff was incredibly friendly, and Justin was super helpful in showing us options and letting us try things at our own pace. He's incredibly knowledgeable and will help you make informed decisions, but if it's not something that you want he'll never try and force you into a sale. Needless to say, Justin helped us create the ring of our dreams and gave us incredible service along the whole process. Proud to say she is no longer my girlfriend and is now my fiancée (soon to be wife)! She looks at her ring in awe every single day, and we couldn't have done it without this place. Definitely better than buying from a big box retailer, and fairly priced as well. You truly get what you pay for. Don't think twice if you need an engagement ring...do yourself a favor and go to...
