Saint John's Cathedral — Attraction in Fresno

Tranquility abounding in such a heavenly presence within the sphere of a humming environment of the Downtown Fresno that is indeed of historical significance. I attended the 12.10 daily afternoon Mass to observe a recent death within my carino's family. My carino's tia had passed to go home to her salvation of being in the comforting arms of the greatest spirit that could exist in the manner of body and blood. Such an honor to respect the tia she loved with such wealth to attend a Mass rich in searching and finding that the Catholic religion, despite its recent disturbances of being irrelevant to those who do not their faith in God, His Son, the Virgin Mary, and all the blessedness of the saints, that the Roman Catholic religion still stands true and authentic in a world that still has an opportunity to embrace that love is the most cherished emotion that the Almighty placed upon us to teach others who are in the...

When things are normal they do lovely Masses and the place is beautiful.

Now, Sunday & Saturday Vigil Masses are still outdoors, AND WE MUST BRING OUR OWN CHAIRS! Someone who is mobility-impaired is not going to be able to walk AND DRAG a chair from wherever they park. It shuts out a whole group of people from Sunday and Saturday Vigil Masses. They need to do what is done at the local Orthodox Church: limited INDOOR attendance as per law, first-come-first-served or with reservations, but with chairs set up outdoors (at St John's it would be where they already hold Masses) for the overflow. Surely some church group such as Knights of Columbus could handle that! When things get back to normal, if ever, I'd give it 5 stars, but...

They are terrible people here! I went to this church all my life, This is where my parents took us to church Faithfully, my mom passed away in December 2021, I called to see if I could get a priest to come to her service @ Neptune society & they didnt want to even help. They told me NO we can't send anyone cause we always do the rosary the day before, well I'm only having a 1 day service for my Momma and I explained that to the lady and they still told me NO!!
