Genuinely awesome. We went based upon reviews as our sons love super cars and just fast cars in general, upon entering we were excitedly and promptly greeted by staff. After making our way upstairs the youngest son was excited to see the cars, he was in awe of the gt2 rs while the oldest was all for the racing simulator.
Just to walk around the building the cost may seem high but in all honesty the cost is more than fair when you figure that there are dealerships that won’t let you in without proof of the ability to be able to purchase.
A chance to see a multi million dollar car or a rare sought after super car up close or even sit in a nearly half million dollar car? It’s all here and I was happy to see my kids excited to check it out. For the car lovers and parents of car lovers, this is worth the stop and the time, plus the 1/24 and larger diecast on the way out that you can buy are pretty cool too. We fortunately visited during the week in slow season but I can imagine a line during the busy months to get in. Check it out plus overheard they may have a Chiron in the building very soon! As a car guy myself who frequently has the ability to be around many high end cars and even the ultra rare with my line of work, I was amazed to see what they had in the building as well and will definitely return next time I’m...
Read moreI felt that they were not completely honest in their sales pitch. My son was only interested in the 10 minute racing simulator for $20 that they referenced as 'similar to ones used by Ferrari', but he had to pay an entrance fee of almost $25 with taxes first to get the chance on the simulator. OK, fine. We're on vacation, and he loves trying different simulators. I didn't go in with him and decided to walk to a couple interesting stores nearby. Walking north about 20 steps from their main entrance was a pair of open doors with one of their employees in a small room (it's the same building and business) with 2 racing simulators advertising $20 for 10 minutes. I wished they had mentioned this 5 minutes prior, but I'm sure they really want to get people to pay the $21.99 entrance fee. I asked both front desk employees why they didn't offer this experience to us...the young lady briefly decided she couldn't understand English and wouldn't respond to me...the other guy said 'those simulators' weren't as good as the one upstairs. Possibly, but be more open and give your customers all the options available. The pair of simulators around the corner are NOT listed on their pricing board in the main lobby. On a side note, my son liked the simulator upstairs because it had 'motion...
Read moreMy husband and I took our son who is 9 as he loves exotic cars. He was very excited about being able to sit in one of the cars and doing the simulator. I double checked the entire website for any restrictions prior to entering and there is nothing listed about a height restriction. Upon entering and paying for admission, my son asked the young man at the counter about the simulator. We were told it is upstairs and pay up there. Nothing about a restriction. Once we got to the simulator, we were told he was too short. The employee running it was kind enough to let him sit in it and check to see if he could do it. He was not able to do it. We learned that there is a height and weight restriction but the owners refuse to post on the website and share prior to admission claiming it is discriminatory. It’s clearly not discriminatory and just a money grab. My son left extremely disappointed with his experience because he was lied to by the company.
The additional $10 for a photo of sitting in a car is overpriced too. It’s for a split second and the photo is just uploaded to the website at the end of the day or next morning so not great quality.
The rest of the experience was just okay. The cars were neat but no way worth the price for the few cars you are able to...
