THIS PLACE IS AMAZING !!! We stopped in while on vacation and not really looking to buy anything but ended up with 5 fixed Damascus blades in various shapes & sizes. One of which was a fantastic rain drop Damascus patterned, full tang blade with an amazingly comfortable wood handle. I handled and inspected around two dozen different knives and didn't have anything bad to say about any of the construction or workmanship. None of the blades had any delaminations or loose handle construction. The knives were tight and the well weighted. Each of the knives that I ended up with all came with leather sheathes that were form fitting and available in different belt mounting configurations. The staff working the counter were really helpful and friendly. The overall experience was really one to remember and it's why I'll consider going back for the Damascus patterned, Celtic axe they had in the window out front. I highly recommend stopping in when...
Read moreWe went there last month and saw a suit of armor. The 16 piece set was $1500.00. The 4 piece set was $1000.00. At least, that's what we were told. My husband saved up and we made a special trip just for the armor, which he's wanted since he was a little boy. When we get there, they tell us the 4 piece suit is $1500.00 as well. That's NOT what we were told and it also doesn't make sense for a 4 piece set to be the same as a 16 piece set. My husband was so disappointed. I'm VERY unhappy because I feel we were lied to, they tried to rip us off and we left with no armor and disappointed since that was the whole reason for the trip. I gave it 2 stars because he did go back inside and buy 3 small knives because he wanted to buy my son the knives he wanted but I will NEVER step foot back...
Read moreNeat stuff. All junk. Was interested in the knife making course but after seeing the quality of the item I purchased, I'm good. If you want a keepsake that has the words Smoky Mountains on it well here you go. Pay 3x what you would on ebay for a knife that don't cut. If you want a real knife go to Smokey Mountain Knjfe works and get something good or the same junk for 1/3 the price. Maybe I'm a bit biased because I am upset with myself for falling for the tourists trap but this place like is a no go for me. I'd give them a 5 star if they had been honest and not lied to me but they are just out to scam people. I don't like giving bad reviews but I'm gonna speak my mind...
