So unfortunately not a whole lot of tour options when you book something last minute lol but I was able to secure a spot here for the orphanage tour. While our tour guide was wonderful and the actual inside of the basement pretty cool. It could have been done better. We spent 90 mins an didn’t really walk much. We walked to a small grass area an the back of a fence that leads to the cemetery. They could have asked to explore more or actually enter the cemetery too. We then went to a room that wasn’t part of the building at one point. Then to another room an then to the basement. Then to the smaller room. There was a lot to see but we were moved from room to room I don’t think we really got see the rooms we were in nor actually really look at the space the kids were kept an take it all in. I think this tour could easily be cut down to 30 mins. Still include the stories an info and go on. Or it needs to include more to see. It was only $12 a person (at least our tickets were for that date). It was just more ghost sighting stories then info an ghost an go lol. I also think the actual website needs some updating. The format to check tickets available an buy makes it look like nothing is available on a phone. Unless you scroll down. This tour is fine for kids of all ages. There there two with us they did fine. It was the adults that weren’t. One who probably shouldn’t have been on the tour cause she was scared an the other who had no humor when the tour guide was joking. Kids under a certain age are free. Wish we had more time to do another tour.

We toured the Ginnie Wade House on a Saturday at 9:00 PM. Our tour guide, Rachel, started the tour by walking us over to Cemetery Hill to provide context about the battle and tell a spooky tale about the Belle of Baltimore. A quick jaunt over to the Wade House, we saw the exterior of the home, that from the outside appeared to be quite small, but as we explored the inside of the house, it was larger than we thought. Rachel did a good job of explaining the events of the battle, providing context for everyone (we had 2 kids with us, 10 and 5), that kept everyone’s attention. Unexplained events that had taken place in each room were shared, with emphasis on certain objects, mirrors, clocks, and other items. Pictures were encouraged in groups of 3 to capture anything later. While we did not personally experience anything I could attribute to the paranormal, the tour was most well done. We even got to experience “lights out” in the cellar. For those who believe in spirits, you understand they aren’t performers and not every tour yields an experience. Regardless, the tour was quite enjoyable just to learn about Ms. Wade. They do have earlier tours, but going after the sun has set was definitely the better time for the month of April.

If you want to go go on a Ghost Tour in Gettysburg, PA than this is the right stop. You actually get to go inside the buildings of the haunted places. The tour consists of about 40 minutes outside and 40 minutes or more inside the building. It is a lot of fun learning about the history of the buildings and also hearing about what lurks inside! You can do the Orphane Tour which takes you inside the old Orphanage or you could do the Jennie Wade Tour which takes you inside the Jennie Wade House. Both are great and each of the tours last about an hour and a half. They also have different kind of tours you can take so when you get to the Ghostly Images building which is located inside the old Orphanage, you can talk to the employees in the gift shop and they will direct you on which tour would suit you best. Overall you can't go wrong when visiting Ghostly Images. One of the best thing is they have free parking! You can park in the parking lot right across from Ghostly Images where the Gettysburg Tour Center is located. There is also no time limit on how long you park there so it is a win win situation. Definitely check out this place if you are passing through the area and have some time to spare.

5 STARS FOR MARIA who was our guide and she was EXCELLENT. This was the best ghost tour I've ever done. My son got a picture of an orb and of a face looking out of the window during the Jennie Wade tour. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The next night we took a tour of the orphanage. The guide was nice and seemingly knowledgeable. The facts and history behind the tour are troubling and sad so I thought it was unprofessional that the guide was cracking silly jokes the whole time and had a tendency to keep saying "so guys" or "hey guys" throughout his narrative which was slightly annoying. In the basement we did experience several instances of activity such as hearing voices, radio static and squeaking doors. We also got a photo of a "black shape" in another building along the tour. At the end, Eric the guide suggested everyone look inside an outhouse where once a young orphan was found. Inside they had placed a weird manequin to jump scare the tourists. The problem is, because of this and the guide's silly jokes, we all left questioning the validity of the "paranormal" things we experienced. Not altogether sure they weren't a set up... so that's really very disappointing. The history of children who were shackled to walls and starved to death doesn't leave much room for zaniness or pranks. Would try the orphanage tour with another guide. I'm hoping that what we experienced wasn't a setup or a part of pranks by...

Amazing tour! I went with my family last night. We loved our tour guide Rachel, she told us tons of stories about people who had real paranormal experiences in the orphanage! The history of it was very interesting, a bit scary for my brother😂 My favorite part was when we went in the cellar under The Jennie Wade house. When she told us about the spirit they thought lived there, I thought it was hilarious how they had been known to dislike men and try to keep them away🤣 I took lots of pictures, and in some there was a cute blue heart on one picture of a door. Rachel said that lots of people saw that by the door, so they had a hunch that a spirit/ghost caused it. And I though that was adorable! It was even more cool when I saw the heart in multiple of my other pictures, in a mirror reflection and outside the cellar when there was no light! My phone also seemed a little on edge while we were there, the battery percent going up and down, my phone camera trying to detect a face in the dark cellar, and when it would randomly blur pictures that I was perfectly still for! Rachel said that this happened to lots of visitors when the spirits wanted to interact! I though that was really cool to see! Our guide Rachel was awesome and very sweet! My family loved all of the jokes she made with the stories of the spirits! ! I would definitely go again for...
