When in town, we always visit Mark Nesbitt's Ghosts of Gettysburg. The stories the tour guides tell on the ghost walks are interesting and while we know it's purely for entertainment, we keep an eye out because you just never know what you might see in one of the most haunted towns in the United States. We've been there several times over the years and because of that, we've come to know most of the stories the tour guides tell but we still enjoy listening to the tour guides tell them.. Unless you're regular visitors like us, you'll be entertained for an hour or more won't be disappointed unless you go in expecting to see a ghost.
If you're there during the anniversary of the battle or on one of the book signing events, you may even get the opportunity to meet Mark. Heavily involved in the paranormal, Mark knows what he's talking about and is glad to share his experience and insight with all who may ask...
Read moreI’m on the West Confederate “ghost” tour now. It’s terrible. That is why I’m actually texting. No ghost stories and the history was horrible and inconsistent. Save your money, atleast uptown ghost tours give you some excitement even tho they are fake atleast they can keep your attention. Absolutely terrible, I would have expected more out of Mark Nesbit and his tours. He should vet the guides and their stories before sending out what we just paid for. I was really looking forward to this tour but it’s just like all the others, plain, drawn out and not interesting or remotely scary. He claims to be the patron saint of Gettysburg ghosts stories, we I didn’t here one on the hour and a half tour I was on. He should be ashamed of himself for putting...
Read moreWe have been looking forward to this ghost tour for months and we where super disappointed! I have been to ghost tours all over and this was the worst one so far! Ann was our tour guide and all she talked about was other people’s thoughts. We would have loved to hear the history of why things where haunted. Not how she had people come in to her groups and saw things. Social distancing wasn’t a thing with this group and they even asked people to hold hands around a tree to see how big it was. I mean what does that have to do with ghosts or history. We heard other ghost tours and wished we had a different guide and was on them. We ended up walking away towards the end because it was just so all over the place. Not worth driving...
