SECOND UPDATE: Not for a moment do I think anyone is just waiting to hear from me; however, I want to keep a honest review. After my update post below, I did receive a voice mail apology from Jaycee saying she must have just had a bad day and she was sorry. And finally, still no coupons from Jaycee or Erin. UPDATE. Yes, Erin reached out to me and was very apologetic (Jaycee never did apologize) and did promise to send a coupon in the mail. I have not yet received said coupon but did appreciate Erin taking the time to listen to our experience. When I picked up the "repaired" items Skyeler was at the register and was a DELIGHT. Maybe she should be made manager. Thanks Skyeler!

Wow, my family and I have done many of these pottery painting places in various cities where we have lived. This was by far our WORST experience. three of the four pieces we did, had something wrong with them. One had an issue that occurred in the kiln and had to be redone, one had a chip out of it, and the third was a dog bone picture frame which was a gift for my daughter who had just had to put her dog down. When I got the picture frame home and tried to put the picture in it, they had attached the frame on the back so crookedly that when you put the picture in, you could still see part of the frame. I called and spoke to Jaycee, the manager, and she assured me that this was not the level of service they were accustomed to providing and that if I brought the pieces back, she would correct them and even give me coupons for my trouble (I did not ask for that, she offered). since I do not live close by, it was a couple days before I could bring the pieces back. Once I arrived, they were clearly annoyed and wanted me to wait another 2 days to have the pieces corrected. I told them I needed the picture frame the same day because it was a gift and I was going to see my daughter the next day. I have been to the Glendale location multiple times and my family has always enjoyed themselves. This last time was however not great and it's actually keeping me from wanting to return. I purchased several to go items online, 2 medium size bowls and 3 mystery bags, for an at home little birthday craft. When we unwrapped the mystery bags the items were all identical bowls and very small. You pay $13.99 for each bag and expect something of that value and per description they are to be various items chosen by staff. For what was given I would have been better off going to the dollar store. I called the store to voice my concern and was told mystery bags contain discontinued item that no one has bought..well that explains it. No where online and not a single staff member mentioned this otherwise I would have chosen an item myself. I spent $80 for items that probably total half that if less in store. I was only offered a in studio credit which they charge a sit in fee to do so ill still be paying more and it's not something I'm into doing right now which is why I opted for to go in the first place. I have to just take a loss at this point and be done...

Going in and seeing the cost of the pottery I was a bit sticker shocked. I'm an artsy fartsy kinda girl so I like to take my time with creating. I got a basic plate and it was $28. I was thinking this is the most expensive plate I've ever bought. Fast forward an hour and a half. I'm not even half way done with this plate. Literally I have the base coat and a few small details done.

In my honest opinion it is 100% worth it. Especially if you have kids. You can purchase a small thing for them to paint each time, and you can keep bringing your masterpiece back and only have to pay the studio fee. For me it was so much fun, and I love seeing everyone's creations, which they have displayed in the back of the register. The staff was so super nice, even though we got there at 8:30pm and didn't leave until they were literally locking the doors at 10pm. We had such a great girls night and I will obviously be back to finish my expensive but...
