Board Game Barrister — Attraction in Glendale

Really a great shopping experience. I was looking for some Pokemon card packs as party favors for my son's birthday party. Figured the kids could hangout eat a little pizza and just go around showing off their new cards and trade and play. Which ended up being a great idea! The problem though was that I didn't know anything about the card sets. Which set the kids might be more into. The workers totally took the time to take me through the different sets, what the kids might be more into and why. Took the time to put me through Pokemon school 😄 which, as a parent is priceless. It's nice to understand what you're kids are into. They took the time to help me find what I really needed. It also looked like they have a giant selection of boardgames! And I'm sure they would take the time to help you find what's right for you I would definitely recommend throwing your business their way, plus it's local!! Which is...

I absolutely love this place, its such a shame that they literally have been closed due to COVID-19. This make absolutely no sense...they say they will reopen when there is a vaccine but by that time it will either be a modified strain or a new virus thus making the vaccine potentially irrelevant. Just have people use common sense when entering...just like every other business. You have employees that need to work and games that could be selling. I mean I get it you believe you are doing good but listen...this isn't going away and there will always be some new virus or sickess just like the flu. Absolutely sad the Greenfield location closed because of the silly guidelines and milestones that were established. Just have people wash hands, wear masks and use sanitizer...keep distance and limit entry... dont let this business fail...its such a gem...

Peter helped us today and was absolutely outstanding. The store layout and selection was amazing!! The store was well lit, very clean. Peter was really welcoming and helpful. He helped us pick out a birthday gift after explaining the person and interests. He also helped us pick out a game for a friend reunion/vacation. His knowledge and passion for games was impressive!! The determination to help (without being too pushy) and find something for anyone in any setting really made the whole experience special!! Definitely can’t go wrong going into this store, but I’ll warn you it’ll be hard to walk out empty handed if you like games! Theres also a lot of puzzles, trading cards, toys, and model building items. He said they also do Dungeons and Dragons...
