L.A. Banquets — Attraction in Glendale

L.A. Banquet - Brandview Ballroom – Celestina & William Wedding Sept. 5th, 2014.

Before I get into the reviews I want to give a Gigantic THANK YOU!!!!, to the LA Banquets and Anoush Catering staff.  My wife and I cannot stop talking about this unforgettable day not because the venue was awesome but because of the Anoush Catering staff.   Adam, Greg, Norik, Christian and Vrej fully comprehend that at the core of rendering service are people and relationships. They were welcoming and open to making our dream wedding come to pass and worked with us throughout the entire process. Their genuine interest and care showed at the wedding, we had no complaints from our guests.

We selected the Brandview Ballroom on Valentine’s Day 2014. We were looking for a venue that  had character, great locations, easy parking, great hotels, lots of wedding experience and able to handle 250+ guests. By the way our guest list ended up growing to 430 and this was no sweat for Norik or Greg.  What was important to us was that our guests had more than enough food, were well treated and celebrated our marriage in an awesome atmosphere.  Brandview Ballroom and Anoush Catering hit it out the park!!!!

The venue was clean and had a royal feel to it with the spiral staircase and chandelier.  There was plenty of parking and the valet parking service is next to the entrance.  They provided great valet service, all valet attendants had clean uniforms and polished shoes.  This space had a renovated patio and was more than big enough to accommodate guest sign in.  The lighting was great, the space allowed the music to be heard and also the guests did not have to yell to be heard.

My wife and I do not drink but we heard nothing but great things from those who were at the bar.  They made our choice drinks and we wished they had brought it to our tables because the one we tasted was just just perfect.

Anoush Catering also worked and accommodated all of our vendors and treated them with respect and consistently offered their support to our vendors to make their work easy.  They made sure the venue was open with enough time for the DJ, the florist, the bakery to deliver their service with excellence.  When we walked into the venue everything we discussed and wanted was there.  I am anal at times and even with everything going on I went through my check list and nothing was missing.

They even allowed us to keep stuff there until the next day because we had so many gifts.  They allowed us to take all of the food that was left over.

Above all things my wife was very happy with her wedding and she did not want the night to end.  We were the last ones to leave and we savor all the great moments and awesome time.  Happy wife makes a happy husband.

Although the lighting was great we wanted all the lights dim except for the dance floor light when we were having our speeches and that did not happen but it was okay.

During the venue picking process, my fiance, at the time, and I visited various different sites for potential venues for our special day. We stopped searching once we met with David and Sevada at Brandview Ballroom over a year before our wedding day. Right away we felt a sense of comfort seeing how organized everyone involved was. Being the organized freak I am, this was a major plus! From there, we mostly worked with Sevada in further planning our dream day. As the day approached, we also worked with Adam, Christian as well as Greg on the actual big day. Sevada did everything he could from the beginning to the very end to make sure everything went smoothly and to our liking. I contacted him numerous times via email and telephone with my endless questions as the day approached and I started getting nervous and anxious. He always welcomed my questions and answered them all and made me feel so much better after every conversation that we had. He was very professional and always responded to phone calls and emails on a timely manner. I know how busy it can get during wedding season, so I personally really appreciated the quick responses because it can be difficult at times as a bride running after vendors. Christian and Adam helped us out a day before the wedding when we went in to hand over a few items for the day of. Christian made sure he made notes of every little detail and everything was delivered exactly on point the next day. And his attitude is a definite plus for a nervous bride! And of course, Greg, who took care of every little detail the day of the wedding. The owners definitely know what they are doing here. Everything is thought about before hand. I honestly had prepared myself for things that may go wrong because everyone told me it's impossible for things to go perfectly. Boy were they wrong!! Not only was everything perfect, it was beyond anything we could have imagined. Thank you to everyone involved for making our special day even more special and as stress free as possible. We truly appreciate every little effort and can't wait to recommend this venue to our family and friends and have future...

Our wedding reception was held at Brandview Ballroom on Saturday, February 16th . It was an absolute hit! We had a wonderful time, surrounded by our amazing family and friends.

We worked closely with Sarine, who did a great job coordinating and managing the entire event. Sarine is extremely friendly, personable and honest - which is such a great combination when planning a wedding. She made sure that all our needs were taken care of.

In addition, the entire staff at LA Banquets is on top of their game! They run the evening extremely well. It was so nice being a bride to not think about the extra/behind the scenes stuff and being able to relax and enjoy the night. The staff took care of everything and were additionally so kind to both my husband and I and our guests!

The location of Brandview is also a huge plus, as it is right in downtown Glendale and kitty corner from the Americana. It is a great place to host traveling guests.
