BEWARE: this place treats their customers very poorly. I needed to return a bra so I purposefully selected to return the item to the store since Google Maps indicated that it opened at 10 a.m. I arrived at 10:05. It was not open. I thought maybe they were running behind schedule, so waited a bit more. Two employees were inside - a male and female. They did not acknowledge the customers waiting outside. Then about 5 minutes later, at about 10:10 a.m., two delivery guys came and waited outside as well. After a few moments, the man walked out of his store into the mall and asked them to come in. I figured to take advantage of the moment so I politely asked him, "Excuse me, but what time do you open at because Google says 10 a.m." He ignored me and continued to walk away. Obviously ignored, I asked him again. He had one hand on the rail to close the door and said that they opened at 11 a.m. I replied saying that Google indicates 10 a.m. He then said very rudely, "Well then call Google so that they can fix it," and tried to shut the door one me. But before he could, I informed him that it's actually the responsibility of the staff to contact Google. He then said nothing and shut the door.
This is definitely the last time that I will ever step into a VS. They obviously don't care about their customers. No one bothered to come out and say that they open at 11 rather than 10 and they are just plain rude. I'll take my $$$$...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThere are two restrooms IN the store. When I went yo use the restroom, an attendant asked me what I was doing. I told her I was going to use the restroom. She then said, āwe donāt have any restrooms,ā as Iām standing in front of two doors that show restrooms (and that Iāve used before) ā I told her the correct response would be to be honest and say, āwe donāt allow customers to use our restrooms,ā versus lying to the customer. She said, āIām not lying,ā and I told her she is, because there are clearly restrooms here. What has happened to our society? Why do we stop people from using restrooms or keep them private when itās a basic need FOR everyone. Part of why I liked shopping at this store was because I could take my time knowing if I have to use the restroom, I can go in there and then get back to shopping quickly and easily. So what if people dirty the restroom, if thatās the concern: clean it more often! This is a basic human need and Iām sick of businesses making their restrooms unavailable to customers just because they donāt want to have to clean them more often, or whatever their dumb reason is. Working at a store doesnāt make someone more human than the person visiting the store and purchasing things. When I have guests in my home, I donāt tell them they canāt use my restroom. Theyāre just as human as I am. Basic. Human. Need. Needless to say, I left without purchasing one thing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI checked in with someone else who lives in L.A. since I am not from L.A. to validate that this was just weird. I was trying things on in the trying room with my AirPods in as I usually do when Iām thinking about what I like to buy. Shopping alone is my introverted activity. But I didnāt hear anyone knock since thatās the beauty of noise cancelling headphones. I said I was just getting dressed and someone was in here. I was confronted by two ladies who said I wasnāt responding and they know Iām in here regardless of the fact I was pulling my things on me in front of them since they didnāt close the door or honor my privacy. I explained I had headphones and just didnāt hear them and they said I needed to leave the changing room. There was no privacy at all or a second to give me to really put myself together. I stayed friendly but that was really really uncomfortable. I have no idea what assumptions they were making about what was happening in the changing room. They passed this off as āhonoring my safety.ā I could get behind that if they hadnāt still barged in when I said I was getting myself still together from trying things on. I still bought since I desperately needed bras since I ran out when climbing in Utah. But I will never come to this one ever again. This crossed boundaries...
