Great stadium, great atmosphere, great prices on food, clean, and usually very nice staff. Unfortunately, today we got a jerk at the gate. And I'm a local, returning customer, who even had a see through bag! We had an issue as did a couple other ladies nearby. My main complaint is specifically the security guy at the gate who checks bags. He was a total unhelpful jerk about the clear bag policy, saying "do you understand what clear bag means?" And such in a really condescending tone and not providing the information necessary to my situation, nor to the other ladies. He was rude and unhelpful to them too. Specifically, I was traveling with my spouse and young child and we had been at multiple other events for family and faith earlier in the day. In the hassle of the day, my spouse couldn't find our usual plastic clear drawstring bag to switch to after swim and thus he had grabbed a small navy cotton MESH bag instead (which has been acceptible at many other large sporting events and festivals we go to that also have clear bag policies, since all contents inside are easily visible through the wide weave of the mesh: ear muffs for kiddo, sippy cup, baby wipes, spare pull up diaper, clutch wallet, smartphone, hat for kid, suncreen, etc). I didn't select the bag. I was with my kiddo at swim lessons when the bag was selected without me. So this bag security guy at the gate was lecturing me about "do you understand what clear bag means?!" instead of answering my question(s) which was 1) is this a warning and you are going to let me in this time with mesh but don't do it again or 2) where can I buy the necessary plastic bag nearby? Turns out, after all the angry fuss from the bag guy, the result was that I had to buy a huge, ugly, $25 plastic bag from the gift shop nearby. He could have just been direct and kind enough to provide the necessary info so I could reunite with my family sooner (who were already inside), instead of fussing, in such a condescending tone at me, over something that wasn't my fault in the first place, and wasting my time in the process. I do understand what clear bag means! What I needed was info for how to actually fix the problem! Don't lecture me like I'm a simpleton. Be helpful. Be respectful. Be polite. Provide actual solutions to the problem in front of you. Just tell me where to get a bag that meets the stupid criteria! It shouldn't be that hard to be helpful and nice. Security theater is annoying and pointless under the best of circumstances, but with a rude mansplainer added to it, it's so much worse. He was a rude, disrespectful, condescending, unhelpful, jerk. I doubt he would have spoken in such tones to my tall, broad shouldered, deep voiced husband. But to me, a short woman, he was...

Having attended several games over the past several years, it can be a pleasurable break from the ordinary.

This is home field to the Greenville Drive. They are a minor league High A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.

The ballpark is fashioned after Fenway Park and its Green Monster scoreboard along with its manually altered scoreboard as in Boston.

There are additional modern screens with a plethora of statistics, scores, pitched ball MPH, pitch countdown clock and all the necessary advertisements to help offset the price of tickets which are very affordable.

Every seat has a good view of the ballgame play.

There are the customary in between inning games that are for your amusement.

They throw out tshirts to the crowds and have the 7th inning stretch activities.

The ball park features District 356 which appears to have one event after another throughout the year. Many games will greet you will themed events. During the off season the ballpark is not off limits. Year round activities and events are held there.

If you are looking forward to some ballpark culinary offerings, you will not be disappointed. From basic hot dogs to hamburgers to chicken and BBQ and ice cream. You can even order via their app for seatbside food delivery so you don't miss any of the action.

Keep in mind that will most public venues, this ball park has a clear bag policy. Parking in 2024 became much more of a challenge when the huge free lot at the old Greenville County office building was sold and is being developed into a private shopping area.

Refer to the Greenville Drive website for more detail on parking. Several trolleys are available to get you to and from some of the parking areas.

Naturally these comments are based on my experiences over several years. Your...

I live in Pennsylvania so Reading Fightin Phils fan here, but was visiting family in Greenville, and they invited us to go to last night’s game for Kids Eat Free. Never was I so impressed by all the staff and facilities. Everyone that we met and talked too were friendly and courtesy from coming into the gate, staff at the kiosk tables, eating establishments and even leaving the stadium. Having a two year old little boy with me was a win win with the wonderful playground. But to top it all off, our family was asked if we we would volunteer to play the tic tac toe game on the field after the 5th inning. My two year old was being especially attached and clingy to his Mommy that night so I didn’t think I would be able to play, but two specifically of your staff from North Greenville University, Cory and Hannah, entertained my little guy for me and went over the top to introduce him to Reedy and some of the ball players while we were waiting. My little boy was beyond mesmerized with Reedy and seriously did not want to leave the park without Reedy. I was shocked that he was not scared out of his mind as most 2 year olds are, but not my little boy, John Mark. It was Reedy Reedy Reedy the whole drive home. Plus Mr. Cory carried John Mark out onto the field during the game of Tic Tac Toe so that John Mark could be co announcer with him and say “GO” into the microphone! Made this Mommy’s heart so proud. And then my other children were hoping beyond hope to catch a fly ball and they did during the last inning! Total night made! Thank you all for making it such a wonderful experience for us! We will most certainly be back the next time we...

The field was amazing visually! I enjoyed the ambiance. I am grateful for the experience. I enjoyed the trolly and the beautiful surrounding sights of the city. That is why I do not want to give less than 5 stars because all of the employees were friendly, positive, and smiling despite the heat. I had not been to a baseball game since before the pandemic. Spider man was cool and friendly as well. (Please see attached photo for reference.) The constructive feedback that I would like to give is the sweet tea was not sweet. More importantly is that I suggest that measures are taken for the heat. I think it could be more inclusive for the elderly and others where their medication is affected by the Sun. It was 100 degrees outside. Before I parked my car my car measured 96 degrees. I humbly suggest adding those fan misters. There were people leaving before the game began due to the heat. There also needs to be more umbrellas at the tables. I ended up getting a sunglasses tan because I knew that my melanin could handle the Sun better than my less melaninated companions. Additionally, you have a beautiful field, I suggest there should be a shade area by the outfield for players and photos. Furthermore, I can only imagine that it has to be difficult for the players to see the ball flying at high velocities with the Sun in their eyes. We do not need unnecessary concussions. Finally, I think it is important to think about benefiting the players long term so they can play the game longer. Thank you for your time.
