Well, butter my biscuit and call me a milkman, because I'm about to churn out the creamiest review of The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar in downtown Greenville that you've ever laid your eyes on! 🐄
From the moment I mooved through the doors of this udderly amazing establishment, located at the prime pasture of 942 S Main St, Greenville, SC¹[2], I knew I was in for a treat that was no bull. The atmosphere was as inviting as a barn dance on a Saturday night, and the staff? Well, they were friendlier than a herd of cows coming in for milking.
Now, let's talk about the main event: the milkshakes. These aren't your run-of-the-milk milk shakes; they're the kind of shakes that would make a dairy farmer blush. Each one is a hoof-crafted masterpiece, a perfect blend of ice cream and toppings that's so rich, you'd think it came straight from the cash cow itself.
I had the "Moo-lan Rouge," a concoction so decadent, it was like a dessert within a dessert¹[2]. It was topped with what I can only describe as a cow-pie of whipped cream – and I mean that in the best possible way. The kids had the "Caramel Cowpool," and let me tell you, it was legend-dairy. They were over the moon, and not just because they got to skip the greens!
The service was faster than a calf at feeding time, and the place was cleaner than a new milk pail¹[2]. It's no wonder the locals are stampeding to get a taste. And if you're thinking, "This all sounds great, but I bet it costs an arm and a leg," well, you're wrong. It's as affordable as a thrift store sweater, and twice as sweet.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a place that's the cream of the crop, hoof it on down to The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar. It's the perfect spot to milk some joy out of life with your family. Just don't forget to tip your server – and I don't mean...
Read moreSoooo, how should I put this...It all depends on what floats your boat. I could only bring myself to order the banana split, and it was a banana 🍌 split. No issues with that product. The banana was perfect for the ice cream and toppings. Which were vanilla (my choice), some chocolate and strawberry toppings with whipped cream, a few nuts, and a cherry. Now...what I need help with is if you are any kind of an ice cream shoppe, shouldn't you have notable ice cream. Well, I wasn't impressed with that at all. I leave that right there. Because, I'm sure by the time you add all the other toppings (If you can call them that), brownies, chocolate covered pretzels, pies, cakes...you name it, they probably have it. But you're probably not thinking about the ice cream, so I get it. That's why I started out with it all depends on what floats your boat. But If I'm gonna subject my body to anything ice cream, it better be great and worth the extra run and time at the gym that im gonna have to do, or you ain't seeing me again. If I was in my 20s I probably would have Dove into one of the Mason jars, but I'm not, and I couldn't do it. They look amazing, and i won't knock it, I think it's worth the experience if that's your boat. Noooow, to Management; why do you ask for a name for the order, say have a seat until it's ready, and you don't take it to the table or, or call out the name letting us know to come and get it? It's ice cream, right? The stuff melts, so we don't want to randomly notice that our order is on the counter for anyone to...
Read moreI think the Novelty of this place is why it has good reviews. Went last night with a buddy and yes it is really cool and fun looking desserts but definitely below average. Compared to other placed DT Greenville 100% NOT worth it. It's cool you get to keep the jar. Let me start by saying we are definitely not food connoisseurs but we know good/bad food. My buddy got the Salty but Sweet and only took 1 bite of the Brownie before he set it to the side. He said it was not worth eating. I got a Crazy Bomb with the alcoholic ice-cream and a Top of the Morning. The cookies for the Crazy Bomb were hard as bricks and just not good. The "ice-cream" was way to boozie and just squished out like it was whipped cream. The top of the Morning was just ok. The pop Tart was the best part of it. As far as the atmosphere it feels kind of off is the only way I can explain it. All the employees had the RBF going on like they did not want to be there and all wished you would just leave. They have 2 basketball shot games in the back and all you here is loud banging and kids screaming coming from the back. Made for a very uncomfortable experience and if I worked there I would probably be sick of hearing that all day/night and have the same look on my face. Maybe go around 3/4 when they first open and it would be better. We got there at 7pm after we...
