Super cute store BUT the staff is very unfriendly. The best part of the store was the cute labradoodle! We arrived at the store at 11am and it was not open. A lady came running up and apologized because she had some personal issues at home. We helped open the front door because she was carrying a load of items. We walked around a bit to let her get settled opening the store. When we returned 20 minutes later, there were an additional two employees and the cutest pup ever. We walked in and were not immediately greeted. The store is beautiful, to say the least. It has an amazing selection of LP. I was there with my daughter and her boyfriend. She's going back to school and we were there to get several items. We totally felt that the staff was doing us a favor being there. They weren't rude. They weren't unfriendly. They were just too cool. There was a very snobby attitude about them that I haven't experienced in other LP stores. We were looking for a specific size in a certain pattern. They heard us looking for it and didn't bother to help. My daughter tried on several leggings and dresses. We had to keep going back and forth with sizes but no help at all. Never a, "Don't get up. Let me get you the other one for you." There was a large sign on a pedestal at the entry "Free Gift with Purchase." However, at the check out (we purchased tennis shoes and leggings -- we would have purchased more but decided that we would rather support the LP store by her school since they love her and appreciate her.) we asked if they offered a military discount. Immediately we were told, ""no." I expressed how disappointing it was. The owner told us that her grandfather was in the military and she was sorry but people take advantage of the discount as do teachers and first responders. Well, why would you not ask for a verifiable identification? There is no way anyone can take advantage of the system if you're provided with proof. As we were leaving my daughter remembered about the sign, "Free Gift with Purchase." The owner said, "Oh, that ended on Saturday. It's over." So why would you leave the sign up? If so, shouldn't she at least have said, "Oh, our mistake but here's the gift. Let me go take down the sign." Another customer walked in and was looking for a specific print. She went through the whole store and finally found it. It was very obvious she was looking for something. When she went up to the counter to pay for it, the clerk just rang her purchase with no sense of friendliness or appreciation. She told the customer the amount that was due, wrapped her item in tissue then put it in a bag. "Thank you." No other conversation. The employees of course had cute clothes on and could have had the opportunity to upsell to us. Missed opportunities to those of us who shop for LP. By the way, we just moved into town three...
Read moreThe Pink Bee in Greenville, SC is such a lovely shop. All the staff are extremely helpful. They have provided great customer service for me via email, social media messaging, phone calls and of course while I shopping in the store. I tend to shop more online and either pick-up or have my husband pick up when in Greenville but have recently taken advantage of their free shipping. Their rewards program is an added bonus! I have recently become obsessed with Lilly Pulitzer. They have a great selection of Lilly, and they honor the same Gift with Purchase specials that the Lilly website offers. I purchased several items (dress, hat, and bag) in the Greenville print in Lilly and absolutely love it! I did have to size down in the dress, so luckily, I shopped in the store instead of online that day. I told my neighbors about it, and they also purchased some Greenville print items. The Pink Bee also has another line that has a Greenville print that is not Lilly Pulitzer. I bought the skort and absolutely love it! And I don't even live in Greenville! Great...
Read moreWalked into their store yesterday and was immediately turned off. We were one of three people there at the time. Not one single associate greeted us. There was no smile or anything.
The one young associate who finally spoke to us after more people walked in was not knowledgeable of inventory nor was she confident in the collections of Lilly in store.
I was very impressed with their selection and the variety of options. However, their lack of customer service and treating guest in the true Lilly way made us walk out.
I was dressed in all Lilly as well. They could have easily seen that and used that as a talking point.
Hate this is what our experience was as my boyfriend was very excited to treat me to a Lilly shopping spree.
I only give them two stars for their variety of Lilly in store and the...
