I wasn’t even originally going to write a review but how I was treated baffled me honestly. We ordered food an hour before closing. They said the pick up time would be 10:50pm. That was fine. Our order was on the larger side. 2 10 piece wing meals with chili cheese fries. The wings were great and I told them that. However the fries were so burnt that they were inedible. I had to call in the next day during work because obviously the restaurant was closed by the time we noticed. (They close at 11pm our order was ready to be picked up at 10:50pm and we live 24 minutes away) I called while I was at work the next day to ask for a refund FOR THE FRIES only. I was informed they can’t because it was apart of a meal. I tried to tell whoever I spoke with multiple times that I understood and that I did not want any replacement food. They then placed me on hold again and came back and said they could refund the toppings. I told them once again that I did not want the refund or the food especially because the toppings only totaled to $4. Which is a joke because it was a $41 order and on the menu chili cheese fries are $5.99 A PIECE. All that to say I am not upset about anything previously mentioned. I am upset because even after I told whoever I was speaking with that I understood they couldn’t refund me and that I did not want any food, they rudely asked me, “So you expect me to refund the whole order?” After going around in circles for 11 minutes i politely said AGAIN that i understand the policy but i also do not want any food considering how it was cooked the first time and hung up. I get that every company has policies and for the millionth time I understand, but the least you could do is be kind about it. Maybe try LISTENING next time. Thanks.

I am highly disappointed. after reading dozens of reviews I decided to try out wing crave, sadly. I give them one star because the customer service was good and my food was ready before the time that I was given! as far as the food, it was nothing I thought it would be. I did order online but I called first to ask a few questions and the young lady that answered told me that they only had one order at the time of my call so these weren’t honest mistakes just because they were busy. considering that when ordering (I ordered online) they give you the option to get “original” fried wings (BREADED) or “un-breaded” fried wings. I chose original…which is the whole reason why I decided on wing crave over wingstop because it’s difficult to find decent breaded wings and I love breaded wings. another option that you have when ordering is to get all flats or all drums for an up charge, although I chose the option that is a mix of both…to only receive TWO flats out of ten wings. my wings were pretty chewy so after eating two I just stopped eating. I did request extra crispy fries as I do anytime I order fries from anywhere and mine were burnt. I can understand how that can be easily done so I won’t complain much there. the fried corn was good. I fasted all day and I’m honestly just sad that I did not get anything that I expected at all after spending $22.22. maybe I’ll try again one day and check my food before leaving.

Wing Crave started out great when they first opened, best wings I’ve ever had. Now it’s gone down hill, the sauces are still great and the chicken is great- when the kids working there care to do it right. I think in the beginning an older guy watched over a lot of it and made sure it’s done well. Now the teenagers work by themselves at night and they just do not care, this should be a wake up call to the owner you are ruining the buisness with these kids. They barely talk/mumble on the phone when someome calls, they make the wings with little to no sauce most of the time, soggy fries woth NO seasoning when you order cajun, they don’t tell you when you’re order is ready so it just sits there, and literally EVERY time we order chicken and waffles they leave out the syrup, they leave out the ranch when you order it. I wish I could get a refund for buffalo wings with no sauce, plain wings is ridiculous when you pay $30 for wings! PLEASE DO BETTER BECAUSE I LOVE YOUR FOOD WHEN YOU CARE!!!

Wing Crave started out great when they first opened, best wings I’ve ever had. Now it’s gone down hill, the sauces are still great and the chicken is great- when the kids working there care to do it right. PART 1: You’re really at a zero but I can’t rate that low. On 10/17/24 an order was placed for 30 wings, 2 banana pudding cookies and fries to be picked up at 7:30pm.

7:32pm: I walk in, let them know I have an online order. At that moment, one of the male workers gets up, walks to the back. The female employee takes my ticket to the back, comes back and says they don’t have the cookies or fries. I said “ok that’s fine, yall do have chicken right?” She says, yes. She then proceeds to ask if I wanted a refund of the cookies and fries? (I should have known at this moment it was going to go downhill) It honestly caught me by surprise because the norm should be to refund if an item isn’t available. I tell her yes I want a refund. “It’ll be another 15 mins”, she said. Now I’m even more confused because why do I still have 15 mins on food that should have been completed at 7:30pm? She said they stopped cooking my food because they were out of the other items that were ordered so they weren’t sure if I still wanted my food.

I then ask, “why didn’t yall call and ask if I still wanted my order because now I have to wait another 15 mins for food when I was expecting to come pick this up and go back home to my kids?!” I tell her because I have to wait for my food to cook I would like compensation. She calls her boss (assuming the owner of the resturant) and tells him what happened then she hangs up. Her exact words “he said there’s nothing we can do about it”. I ask to speak to him so she calls him back. I get on the phone, repeat my issue, repeat what she told me he said initially then he says (EXACT WORDS) “yea there’s nothing I can do. I mean I’m going to refund you your money for cookies and fries.” I ask, “so you mean to tell me you can’t do anything for me because I have to wait for your employees to cook my food that should have been done by now all because they weren’t sure I wanted my order because y’all are out of items? Now I have to wait 30 mins for food (I was interrupted..his words “it won’t be 30 mins”) because it’s not cooked. He said, “Yea, I mean I can give you a gift card the next time you come in because I don’t have any in the store right now.” Just know we cancelled the order and checking statements to make sure money is refunded. I think that’s when I realized “this man cares nothing about making it right for the customer.”

Mess up #1, telling your employee to tell a paying customer who’s been inconvenienced significantly that “nothing can be done”

Mess up #2, speaking to said customer and still saying nothing can be done.

Mess up #3, you go from saying “nothing can be done” to “I can give you a gift card the next time...

Order hour in advance. Check your order before you leave.

I try to support local black businesses because I have one. I had high hopes for this spot because of its proximity of downtown and its delicious sounding menu. First thing is their wings are NOT CHEAP. Honestly I understand the prices bc of the location and ever rising food prices among many other factors, I get it, no problem.

The first time I ordered online, the online ordering system said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived and still had to wait an additional 20 minutes. While in the store, it was loud and ran by children who were loud, cussing and who did not have good customer service skills (AKA hello, welcome, the basics). The food was really good.

The second time I went I had to wait a few minutes for my food after ordering online. I had to ask for the ranch that was supposed to come with the meal. It was nasty and cheap ranch. I also, got the fries which were good but they were well cooked almost over cooked.

The third and final time I went I placed my order online at 12:00 and i gave them extra time because it was Friday lunch hour. I arrived at 12:40pm and I still had to wait on my order. I went inside to wait, there was about 4 other people waiting on their order as well. While inside the cashier who was a younger lady never said welcome, whats the name for your order or anything. I had to ask her about my order. She asked the guy in the back and said he's packing it up right now. She went on to sweep the lobby and I waited another 20 minutes.

I did not receive a ranch, I got the garlic parm and honey buffalo. The wings tasted like they were rushed, meaning parm cheese was dumped on top of the wings and I tasted no garlic. The honey buffalo was only buffalo no honey and nothing spectacular or nothing I couldn't have gotten any where else. I was crushed. I had waited an hour, drove across town and my food was NASTYYYYYY!

I say all this to say, I wanted to support this business but I will not moving forward. The food is not consistent and customer service is horrible and the wait times given online are not actual. The cashier or owner could at least try to offer free drinks, fries or something for long wait times. or apologize for the inconvenience. AND change the wait time on their online ordering to a more realistic wait time. I little care goes a long way especially when someone is trying to support...

My first time trying Wing Crave was on Wednesday 10/27/2021. My experience was A-MAZING. I ordered my food online and it was ready within the 20 mins it allotted for. There was an older gentleman cooking and a young lady in the front taking orders. The wings were Delicious! Now, my second experience was TERRIBLE on 10/30/2021. I placed an order online and it was supposed to be ready at 2:10pm. I walked into the establishment at 2:18 and there were 2 ladies in front of me ordering. Once it was my time to be served I gave the young man my name for my online order. He stated it wasn’t ready. I proceed to ask him how long is the wait to receive my order. He couldn’t give me an estimated time on when my order would be ready. I waited for 5 more mins and my order still wasn’t ready. I asked again for an ETA on my order and he still couldn’t give me a time. I then asked to cancel my order and for a refund. The young man called the owner (I assume) on how to refund my money. He stated I would receive an email showing a refund. I never received an email. At this time it’s 2:38 pm the owner then asked to speak to me about the situation over the phone. The owner was rude, never apologized, didn’t care about the wait time, and never tried to correct the situation. The owner stated they had a lot of online orders. It’s a Saturday and it’s football season. If you know you are busy then you need more than 2 young boys working on Saturdays. There were also 2 other young boys going in and out of the establishment going back in the kitchen and behind the cash register without washing their hands. That’s nasty and not sanitary while being around and cooking food. COVID-19 is still going around! One young man kept going in and out of the kitchen NEVER washed his hands and was preparing food. An older and more responsible person should be there to supervise these young men. I love that the young men are working and not in the streets BUT they were not getting the job done. However I did walk out with a ticket showing my order was canceled. Now let’s see if I will get a refund in the next couple of days. I definitely won’t be back. I don’t care the food is good.
