Hey there, fellow foodies! I'm here to tell you about my experience at Purple International Bistro, a cozy and eclectic restaurant that serves dishes from all over the world. If you're looking for a place to spice up your taste buds and have some fun with your family, this is the place to go!
My wife and I decided to take our kids here for a special occasion, and we were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was lively and colorful. We started with some appetizers, such as the crispy spring rolls, the hummus platter, and the cheese fondue. They were all delicious and perfect for sharing. My kids especially loved dipping the bread and fruit into the gooey cheese. Yum!
For the main course, we had a hard time choosing from the many options on the menu. They had everything from burgers and pizzas to curries and stir-fries. We decided to go for a variety of cuisines, so we ordered the chicken tikka masala, the pad thai, the mushroom risotto, and the lamb shank. They were all cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. My favorite was the lamb shank, which was so tender and juicy that it fell off the bone. My wife loved the risotto, which was creamy and rich. My kids enjoyed the pad thai, which was sweet and spicy. And the chicken tikka masala was a hit with everyone, with its creamy and aromatic sauce.
We were pretty full by then, but we couldn't resist trying some of their desserts. We ordered the chocolate lava cake, the tiramisu, and the baklava. They were all heavenly and decadent. The chocolate lava cake was ooey and gooey, the tiramisu was light and fluffy, and the baklava was crispy and nutty. We savored every bite and licked our spoons clean.
We had a wonderful time at Purple International Bistro, and we can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes. The service was excellent, the food was amazing, and the price was reasonable. If you're looking for a place to treat yourself and your loved ones, you should definitely check out this gem of a restaurant. You...
Read moreDo NOT let the humble frontage deceive you. Sushi Chef Tommy has this craft MASTERED! No need for a fancy build-out to get REALLY G-O-O-D sushi. Period. The atmosphere is actually quite cozy and the staff is very personable and never keeps you waiting. There's always someone in there dining but we never had to wait for a table. If you are voerwhelmed with the multitude of sushi rolls to pick from, just ask Tommy to whip up a specail for you based on waht you like. He nailed it for us and I told him to remember the roll he made for us so I can just request the "Tommy Special". Super nice guy so be sure to say Hello ...and THANK YOU! After eating a garden of flavors you'll have plenty of reasons why to...
Read moreVery wide range of items on the menu. Noodles, soups, salads, sushi.
The ginger salad (small) is huge with fresh veggies and flavorful ginger dressing. Asian BBQ ribs app were crunchy and tender at the same time. 2 per order (we could have eaten 6!) Sushi is fresh and beautifully presented.
The one low point on this visit was the seafood soup. The picture in the menu showed a clear chicken broth while the soup was actually a red spicy broth. The ramen noodles were a bit crunchy and did not appear to be homemade. The soup was flavorable and served hot but I thought it could have been done a little bit better.
Even with that said, we are sure to go back. The servers were friendly...
