Kung Fu Tea - Hampton VA — Attraction in Hampton

Came in the other week cause I was craving boba and macaroons. My usual boba place is across the water but I didn’t feel like driving over there so I just went with whatever the first suggestion was and I have to say, I was very happy with the outcome. Every time I get boba I have to get any Matcha flavored one, this being it always hits, so that’s exactly what I did, I got a large Iced Matcha Milk Tea with boba (fun fact I didn’t know this until after I downloaded the app, but the milk that it was made with was lactose free so that made me even happier and definitely explains why my stomach wasn’t in shambles after I drank this), but that aside it was absolutely delicious 10/10 would recommend. Moving on to the macaroons, they were also very delicious, they were the perfect amount of sweet and the perfect size. My all-time favorite macaroon is any birthday cake flavor one so I got two of these and they pleased my taste buds. The other flavors I got were Vanilla, Cookie Dough, Cookies & Cream and then this fruity cereal one (which was described to be as tasting like fruity pebbles). If you come to order an hour before close they have no bobba. And you ask if they can make more, "No we cant". Every single time. Came here 6 times they said they can't make certain drinks. 7pm, they have no bobbas, can't make anymore they said. Another time we came at 8pm they closed the doors and said they only sold macaroons at that time. 3rd time: can't make slushies and it was 8pm. 4th: 10 minutes to close, can't sell drinks anymore only macaroons. 5th: We are out of Bobbas and can't make more (8:15pm). There were 10 customers who wanted to order drinks but they locked the doors and only sold macaroons. I get that they want to close but that isn't a good customer service. If you come to this store: come in the morning. And they need to start hiring people who don't close the store early and are willing to work till closing time. Can never reach the store manager either so hope they fix this soon. Because I love this store but this is just unacceptable. Young people who work at night always close the store an hour to 30 minutes earlier than the 9pm time. If they close at 8pm then update the store time so this...

Came to this store at 7pm and wanted to order drinks and they said that they had no more bubbles. I asked if they would make more, they looked at me and asked, “you’re gonna have to wait 45 minutes, is that ok?”. I said yes and they looked at me annoyed since they had to make more. Keep in mind that the store closes at 9pm. Another time I came and 10 people were wanting to order and it was 8:20pm but they had locked the door and said that they were only selling Macaroons. Another time I came at 8:30pm and wanted to order a slushie, they said that they couldn’t make anymore but I explained that one of the drink had to be with no milk and they wanted a slushy. That’s the only reason why they made it but they looked at us annoyed. This is getting out of hand and it’s wasting my time and other customers time.
