We’ve consistently had bad experiences at this theater. The service is slow, but I know that’s a problem everywhere at the moment. The main problem we had is the lack of clarity or communication in their policies and promotions.
Apparently, Tuesday nights are supposed to be discounted nights for those with the app. Unfortunately, there was no one at the ticket counter to help, and we ended up paying full price. We asked about that at the concessions, and the response was that we had to select certain options that weren’t clearly listed in order to get the discount. We did scan the barcode provided on our phone, but that doesn’t automatically apply anything. They said they couldn’t help us since the tickets had already been purchased.
The other problem we had was with their refill policy. We had purchased a medium drink (which, admittedly, is pretty big) and wanted a refill. That’s when we found out that a free refill is only provided for large drinks, and a refill for a medium costs the full price of another drink. That wasn’t clear, and it was pretty expensive, so I just walked away. As little cost as Pepsi syrup and carbonated water is, that’s just blatant price gouging.
We’re not going back to this theater, and I don’t really think anyone else should either. Even though Netflix has been raising its prices, you’re not going to spend $50 on a sitting, so just wait for your movies to come out on a...
Read moreNew to this area and I am beyond disappointed with this movie theater, I was expecting so much better.. first off we get popcorn and I have to go back to get more butter because it’s so bland.. nice staff (only reason 2 stars)... the lady to the right of us I see also goes to get a cup of seasoning for their bucket because it obviously tasted off.. that’s okay not a big deal whatever.. dirty restrooms as well out of paper towels.. still it’s okay whatever I can deal with it then I’m sitting their waiting for the movie theater to turn on the ac some more since it the 4th of July and the movie theater is packed and it’s raining outside so it’s extra hott and muggy.. and as the movie starts nope still no air! You would think it would be common sense to turn on the ac if it’s hott, muggy and raining and you have a theater full of people! I go ask if they can turn it on because not only am I realizing it’s to hott but the little girl next to the left of me is telling her mom she doesn’t want to sit her nap because she’s hott and sticking to her.. this whole situation is just ridiculous! I ended up just leaving and getting voucher but honestly this was ridiculous and ruined our day.. we planned on a movie and dinner and it just killed the day for us and also I was anticipating seeing this movie and was the first to select my seats via the app days ahead! thanks for being inconsiderate of your guests in...
Read moreI used to love going to the movies until here recently. Within the past year, there has been a growing trend with people taking other people's seats that they paid for. These are assigned seats that you choose before paying for your ticket. I have had to kick people out of our seats every single time and it is so annoying. I hate having to yell at anyone. I am not a Karen. But this has been bothering me a lot. I have agoraphobia and I was in a remission cycle for an entire month until we went to see a movie. There was a lady who actually told me, "Go take our seat in the back row. I sit here." I had to yell at her to MOVE. I picked my particular seat because of my agoraphobia I have to have an end seat close to an exit. I know some will ask why even go to a movie theater when you have agoraphobia? Because when the lights go out and I can't see anyone it makes for a relaxing atmosphere and it's one of the few activities that brings quality to my life. I wish Regal would do something to combat this issue. It has gotten completely out of control. Other than that I love going to this theater!!! I love their reclining seats. I love that you can choose your seats and the Regal pass is awesome! It really pays for itself. See? I'm not really a...
