This nail salon is RIDICULOUSLY overpriced, even for the Nashville area. Here's what I got: Classic pedicure + gel ($20 upcharge) Venetian pedicure + gel ($20 upcharge) Classic manicure with clear polish Dip powder + "shaping" ($7) and chrome "design" ($15) 18% tip Total = a staggering $275!
Now, normally, I don't mind paying extra for quality service. If I leave feeling pampered and happy, it's worth it. My pedicure and my sister-in-law's services were fine—no issues there. But when it comes to my fingernails? Absolutely NOT worth the insane price I was charged.
I've been getting my nails done for years, so this isn’t my first experience with dip powder or tips. Yesterday (9/3/24), I got the simple "Hailey Bieber" nails: Funny Bunny dip powder with a chrome top layer. The color was exactly what I wanted, but that’s where the satisfaction ends. The tips were applied horribly—most are set too high, pointing upward unnaturally. The dip powder was applied unevenly, leaving visible and valleys on my nails. I can literally feel the uneven surface.
And since when is shaping not part of a manicure? Charging $7 for basic nail shaping on top of everything else is outrageous. I was shocked when I saw that on my final bill.
I've attached photos showing the worst nails, with obvious lifting and uneven application. You can even see in the last picture how crooked they look when my hand is resting on a table.
If I had paid a reasonable price, I wouldn't even bother complaining. But paying nearly $300 for this kind of subpar service is unacceptable. I should’ve walked out feeling that it was pricey but worth it—instead, I left feeling ripped off. I will NOT...
Read moreThis place is gorgeous and as well known where I come from in Daytona Beach so when I walked in I expected the same service that I got in Florida. The gentleman that did my nails we started off good. I had to explain to him exactly what I wanted done. He had to soak off my nails because you have to get a new set every time you have the dip which I did not know. So after about a half hour of soaking the rest of my nail off he let me know that I’ve been in his chair for a half hour and they are busy. It change the whole tone For the rest of my experience. I sat in silence as he continually spoke to everybody else in a foreign language. And seemed to rush through my nails . I even had to tell him that he was grabbing my skin with a pair of scissors. I’m really disappointed. I also send a lot of my girlfriends to good nail places. I’m also a good tipper. So that time that could’ve been taken out with me to treat me like I was a priority would’ve been really nice considering it was $80 just for dip and a new set of nails. I...
Read moreWorst nail experience. Cut a hole in the middle of my natural nail trying to clip my acrylic off “because it was old”. (I have only had this set once for 2 weeks and 3 days, and was wasn’t time for a new set) I was pointed at while he was talking to his coworkers. (I’m guessing talking about me, could be wrong) when he put the primer on the the nail that he put a hole in, it started to burn BAD. (I normally will fight through the little pain but this HURT.) He then throws acrylic powder on and sprays smelt like acetone on it (which it did stop burning, but praying my natural nail doesn’t get infected.) He proceeds to tell me next time “new set” and “he’s ready to go home”. I had to stop him before putting gel because he was about to paint over the powder where he had drilled.. So once that (Funny bunny 2 coats) where he used clear acrylic instead of pink to match what I had the color is uneven. By far worst nail experience, I’ve never wanted to so cry so bad during a nail set but today I...
