The Shops at Highland Village — Attraction in Highland Village

I went to the bath and body works here and if I could give this place 0 stars I would. We went in real quick for the semi annual sale. I had my 6 month old on my hip and my 4 year old with me. A storm came in and about the same time my 4 year old needed the bathroom. I asked if she could hold it and she said no so I asked an associate if there was a bathroom we could use. She told me no and so I asked what bathroom she uses and she said there’s an employee only bathroom they use. So I said we can’t use it just this once for her to go to the bathroom. It’s pooring outside. She said she could ask her manager and I said please do and she was gone 5 seconds and came back and said we couldn’t use it because of a safety issue. So we had to leave in the pooring rain so my 4 year old could go pee and that was a traumatic experience for her because by they time we all got in the car she was drenched and so was I. I will never come back to this store, the way we were treated and the refusal for a TODDLER TO USE THE BATHROOM is unacceptable. I’m also contacting corporate. Y’all need...

Good thing they have specialty items. Customer service is the worst. Have been in many times and don’t expect a lot of help other than the meat counter. Went in today to get some beard oil. Never bought here so wasn’t sure where to look. Found essentially oils and started looking. There were 2 employees less than 5 feet from m just standing just talking. Blonde and brunette. The brunette looked at me several time during the 5 minutes I stood and sniffed oils trying to figure out the difference. Oh and I’m 5’11 260 lbs with a white beard and have a Labrador Retriever for a service dog that was laying at my feet so it’s not like I’m invisible. The brunette looked at me several times and they and still kept chatting. Never acknowledged me in anyway. Finally I asked if they were working or just visiting. Obviously they aren’t used to people interrupting them as they looked puzzled. I told them I was looking for beard products they had to hunt for it in their own department. Sad. Love all the places but stores like Barnes and Noble close super early. I watch people trying to go in it 7 on a Saturday night or a Friday night and they r already used. They lose business left and right. And every day too. They r so afraid of COVID that it is ridiculous. Several states have stopped mandatory masks. Texas its one. WHY. rates of infection is super low. This county has great vaccination rates too. There is almost no one in their store and all they do is worry if your mask is on or is a little low. Get a grip. They spend more time closed than open. I bet their revenue is at the dang bottom these days. Not a friendly place at all. Yet the restaurants and Bath and Body Works for example r open and boomimg. These shops need to open up like Belks and Walmart and Hobby Lobby in same area are. Chilis is open till 12 on weekends. Same area. Love the stores. Lets...
