If you are a person with taste buds in tact and appreciate decent food, then let me warn you, this place isn’t one I would recommend. I’m staying down @ the beach with my girls for the next few days and had walked down the board walk for dinner. Now, I wasn’t expecting anything decent on the boardwalk, so it came to no surprise that the OVERPRICED falfalel platter that I ordered was far from pleasant. I took but two bites and my stomach was already feeling upset. For my girls, I ordered them chicken tenders and chicken nuggets; for those 3 orders, $28!!!! That’s insane, yo! My opinion is, Is that the only reason why this place is still open for business is because of the tourists and I’ll leave my opinion at that regarding the tourists lol. As far as customer service goes, it was so-so. One of the guys that worked there didn’t seem in the best of moods and that’s alright, just saying, if you plan to go here, don’t expect stellar service. Last but not least, the bathrooms. All I can say is, NASTY. Smelled like piss and when I took my girls into the bathroom to wash their hands (which was really needed after touching those grimy menus), the soap was watered down. When I asked mr grumpy pants if we could please have some soap because the soap in the bathroom is watered down he eventually got around to giving me the soap and made the comment about how, “this is as concentrated as you can get.” Like, it was an inconvenience that I even asked him for soap. Needless to say, I will not be coming back and I definitely will not be trying any more restaurants on the boardwalk. I’m not just saying this because of this restaurant (I’ve been to a diff one in times past with a similar experience). Any way, I hope for whoever reads this, may y’all have a blessed day and enjoy your time on Hollywood Beach if...
Read moreThis place is SO DISGUSTING and so is the guy at the window that has the face of someone who smiles their own flatulence. Yesterday was my mothers birthday, so we took a trip to the beach and wanted to grab a bite for going into the water. This was the first place we stopped at because of the variety of choices on the menu. The first thing we always do and I hope everyone else does is wash our hands before we sit eat. I asked the guy at the window who looked really unpleasant in his tone and demeanor. He pointed me in the direction and I was first to go and wash my hands. When i got into the restroom I did not even shut the door behind me because I did not want to end up touching the doors on my way out. I looked around and the restroom was out of shape, the toilet had someones mess expose, it was filthy! When I got back to the table my mom and sister went to wash their hands and when my mom came back to sit at the table I could sense that she was uneasy..I asked her what she was thinking (she is not big on eating out) and she told me the place just did not seem kept and everything seemed unsanitary. So I asked her if she wanted to leave, she said yes!!! WHO am I to argue with the birthday girl, though the waitress was welcoming, I let her know that my mom changed her mind, told her thank you and we got up to leave. As we grab our thing and started to head out the guy yelled at us stating "NEXT TIME YOU WANT TO USE THE RESTROOM GO USE THE PUBLIC RESTROOM"... it just blew my mind how rude and insulting he was! He was insinuating that we had only come to use his restroom WOW! When the truth had everything to do with how poorly the place was kept. I would just think twice about eating...
Read moreI usually don't give poor reviews and try to highlight the good points and just mention any bad but this just rubbed me the wrong way. First, the wife and I have been coming to Hollywood Beach for maybe 7 or 8 years (minus covid time) and we always stop at Oasis by the Sea to get a pizza and people watch but that tradition has ended after the last visit. Used to be you could get the large 1 topping and a pitcher of beer/soda for $13.99 (yea that was a few years ago). No deals anymore, pictured is the medium cheese that was $21.99, add beef $3.99, bottled sprite $3.75 and the small salad $8.99. BAZINGA! Now look at the photo of the receipt, they automatically add a 18% tip. The lower part of the receipt I didn't get pictured says 'tip not included' and give you a recommended tipping scale. Also if you use a card you pay more. (None of the other places we ate at on the broadwalk did any of this nonsense). The TV inside was turned up so loud (basket ball game) we couldn't hear our server (we were outside). Told her I couldn't hear her, she apologized and said they had people watching the game. There was a table directly infront of the TV watching it, really into it but were directly infront of it. Not an enjoyable experience and the food was average at best. Look at the salad in the picture...disappointing. Now the service, was good and our server was prompt and friendly, if it wasn't for the automatically added tip she would had received more and in cash. The pizza as shown in the last photo, $26 (16" medium, very...
