St. Somewhere Spa at Margaritaville Hollywood Beach — Attraction in Hollywood

Visit the spa on Jan 4 2023, and this was my first experience at the St. Somewhere Spa. My bestfriend and I are sadly very disappointed with our visit despite a decent massage from my masseuse Ken; fine gentleman. Upon arrival the Spa Manager Stacy did not bother to acknowledge my arrival while she stood at the front desk shuffling papers rudely. The other staff representative was cheerful and pleasant. My best friend also stated she was not warmly greeted upon arrival and encountered the very rude Spa Manager Stacy. The facilities are lacking immensely in every single way. There are no toiletries offered in the ladies restroom like every other spa I have been to both locally and internationally. That includes feminine products. I am a spa connoisseur and spend alot of time indulging in wellness. The towels were a bit old and can use freshly new ones. No champagne after the massage was over. Which is tacky. Lastly, very misleading communication received from the spa confirming my appointment for 3pm including a disclaimer to use the facilities an hour after the service. However upon arrival stated they close at 4pm. Perhaps your last appointment should be scheduled for 2pm!? Which gives clients an opportunity to use the jacuzzi and steam room from 3pm - 4pm.

The verbiage in the confirmation email did not aligned with the communication upon arrival at check-in. This was not worth $200 for a 50 mins massage without access to the overall facilities. I would NOT/NEVER recommend this spa at all!

The Spa at Auberge is ultra fabulous in North Lauderdale Beach, which offers champagne, snacks, and tons of variety amenities in the ladies lounge area.

I suggested to the spa manager that perhaps we can return an other day to use the facilities, but did not care to document this verbal agreement to be used in the near future. A verbal offer is not the same as a written document. I decided to skip it overall as I am not returning to use this spa when there is a wide and vast variety such as the Westin's Spa on Fort Lauderdale beach which also gives you access to the beach and pool for the record. They also close at 6pm. The W has a Bliss spa that I would also like to highlight - because it is very fabulous.

Please consider the W or the Westin in Fort Lauderde which was phenomenal. First and Last visit for this South Florida...

Let me first start by saying my massage in itself was wonderful. My only complaint is the unwritten rules stated by staff regarding the duration of the service. No where stated in my booking process or confirmation email is the arrival time requested to arrive before your scheduled service. ​According to the receptionist you must arrive 30 minutes prior to your booked service in order to complete paperwork as your start time for your appointment is fixated and any time completing paperwork and registration information will spill into your alotted massage time. As this was my wedding week I was very excited for my 50 minute massage booked for 9am. Unfortunately due to holiday traffic and not using the Valet service I ran 6 minutes bbehind hhowever I did speak with stafdf ahead of time time and let them know I was a few minutes behind.Howeveraastold by staff I actually needed to be there by 830 am (however the don't open until 9 so how could that be?) Once the massage began at approximately 9:2 5amI was given 30 seconds to undress and begin. My massage lasted oless than30 minutes and I was dressed and out the door by 9:58am. This is absolutely unacceptable as the therapist even said "sorry we have back to back appointment s sorry your appointment is so short". I find this extremely unprofessional as this is an establishment in a major national resort and should provide all necessary information about start time and services rendered prior to arrival. We were also given incorrect pricing off the website in comparison to what we were actually charged as the desk upon arrival. While I loved my 30 minute massage I am extremely disappointed about the amount paid for the service and time we actually spent in the massage. We were not afforded any time to spend in the locker room or showers and dis not receive a robe. As this was a wedding gift I was giving to my Maid of Honor I am extremely embarrassed she did receive her...

I was really looking forward to doing a couples massage and enjoying the pool after. I was notified after paying that the pool is not included and would have to purchase separate day passes to enjoy it. And they're might not even be any left. Spent almost $450 for a couples 50 min massage and the pool is an additional charge... that seems bonkers considering the only other thing I can do with my wife after is share an indoor coed hot tub. Even that had a time limit though we got out less than 10 minutes. I found the massage nice and relaxing but without having a pool to look froward to after I don't see a repeat soon.
