Houston Flea Market — Attraction in Houston

Parking costs $2 on Sundays and $1 on Saturday. Sundays they have the dance bar running full blast with the crazy religious nuts with megaphones shouting to create a din to scare away the devil and invite no one

Prices and selection can be matched at most places like Target and Walmart. Quality is suspect. Lots of cheap jewelry places popped up. The indoor shops are a bit better than the ones outside.

Lots of cheap toys and pirated videos and games. Used to be a great place for South/Central American or Mexican products at decent prices, but no more. Fruits and vegetables costs more than Kroger or Randall's.

Not sure why the hispanic population still shops there, but rest of the other cultures are staying away. I took someone to show them, but not going back. The one of telephone...

Last Saturday was the first time going to this flea market and this place is quite massive, but not as big as the flea market at Airline Drive (Sunny Flea Market). I like los paleteros that sell snow cones, freshly cold cuts of fruit, and natural popsicles (lemon-lime is my favorite). I didn't get to see all the vendors but I bet they have some affordable anime goods THAT ISN'T DEMON SLAYER (no offense), but it does get packed because there are four apartments adjacent to the place. There is this one eatery that I tried the gorditas and fried plantains-the plantains are delicious 🤤 but their gorditas...

The area was dirty and smelled like urine. One of the sellers came in fighting about space for her stand. It was unorganized. Confusion about spaces. The positives - being able to charge my phone. My items didn't get wet when it rained. I will not be returning. I wish I could have my money back. It was an extremely hard day and a bad experience. Then a seller was blocking my space to get out. Then he was debating about space. The sellers are territorial. Not cooperative. That is overwhelming for a new Seller...
