I saw the colorful pictures & the awesome name & was determined to go, this is not a thrift/vintage shop. More so a shop with some second hand items. Typically, I go to great pains not to bring covid policies into my reviews because it's irrelevant in my opinion. It's their sandbox, their business therefore their rules, do you want to shop or not? If I'm asked to put on a mask I do so without being rude or snarky. It's said that first impressions last a lifetime & their's was not good, I'll start with customer service since that was my first experience in this store. The lady at the door smiled & politely asked if we needed masks, I smiled & told her we had some. She then proceeded to ask us to sanitize, I declined. A personal decision based on my own higher education. Now at this point she had two options: 1. Decline entry, which I'm fine with because it's your business, your rules. Option one would've resulted in no review, since I have to actually see the shop to review with integrity. 2. Allow entry & the opportunity to review. She chose option two while loudly being sarcastic, making comments such as, "let's all just share germs"! Now for the store with the bright colors & fabulous name. Though I found the employee obnoxious to say the least, I was eager to peruse the wares on display. I touched nothing out of respect for the courtesy of being allowed to look. It didn't take me long to wonder why this had presented as a "thrift shop" on Google maps. Maybe it was the hundred or so pairs of second hand cowboy boots? The racks with about 50 to 75 garments that were noticeably handmade & new, they did appear to be quality work & ranged from child to adult size, but definitely not second hand or vintage but rather vintage style. A vaste selection there was not. Bowls of generic crystals & tiny hand sewn ?stuffed animals? were everywhere. The shop was clean & well organized for what they had. I'm sure this is someone's favorite shop but on a unique & selection scale of 1 to 10 I'd give it a 3 based on the boots. Normally in a decent shop I'll spend at least an hour, it took me ten minutes to realize a fantastic name & a good eye for arranging things made this a tourist trap for thrifters. Upon exit, the less than courteous employee had no problems with us touching the keys & door with unsanitized hands to let ourselves out & wished us a good day. Out of 5 stars they lost 3 on customer service & 1 for misrepresentation & lack of selection. I'm not disappointed by having to give a star to give the review as it was clean & organized & the handmade items seemed to be quality work to the naked eye. Overall I'd recommend a name change or advertising actual merchandise & not classifying yourself as a "thrift shop". Please remember you have the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason & if you do permit service you have the right to be respectful to...
Read moreMy wife and I came across this place randomly out sightseeing. The design and items in the window piqued our interest and we walked in to take a better look. We immediately fell in love with the atmophere and assortment of oddities and knickknacks for sale. It's clear that the staff takes pride in their work and were very knowledgeable about the items they had.
In addition to great customer service and a unique selection, the prices were also reasonable and competitive. I feel like I got amazing value for my money and didn't break the bank in the process.
Overall, I would highly recommend this boutique shop to anyone looking for a refreshing and enjoyable shopping experience. Between the friendly staff, unique items, and reasonable prices, it's clear that this boutique truly values their customers and goes above and beyond to make sure they leave happy...
Read moreWhat a hidden Gem! On my 1st visit, I was captivated! I Love & totally feel the energies of rocks & crystals. There's some great energy in the shop and in their goods & geological finds.
I spent 2 hours talking, jiving and laughing with the owner. Bring a notebook (although they'll provide a sticky note pad & pencil) to jot down the item, $, and # your buying. It's so easy to stock up and discover new finds but on almost all of the goods are priced only on the display, rather than the product, as many items are too small & too many to price individually.
My advice. GO. Definitely Go. Plan to spend at least an hour, possibly 2,...
