As an architecture student I wish there were better options in houston to buy materials from. I came here today to get only a few materials and had the worst experience ever. The cashier was extremely moody and rude and kept disappearing when I tired to check out, he seemed very agitated when I asked him a simple question where I could find something. When I was checking out he did not communicate at all to me and made hand gestures as to tell me something. I went to use my card on my phone and when It was not working he was not helpful at all and only let me try again once. Everything at this store is extremely overpriced and the student discount barely takes anything off. They are constantly out of materials and lack in certain items like acrylic boards, wood, and other crucial art materials. We were greeted again by friendly staff who was super helpful. We were recommended specific areas to browse based on what our project needs were. Let me just say, if you are at all creative, this is your store. They have every kind of material to make your craft dream a reality. The location has two levels, with upstairs having tables to craft, easel selections as well as lighting selections. Downstairs or the first floor holds every kind of craft mateiral you could need or want. Aisles upon aisles of paint, brushes, clay, paper goods, etc. you name it they have it.
