The Cheesecake Factory — Restaurant in Houston

Worst experience ever! My friends and I chose Cheesecake Factory my my birthday lunch. We got there at 12:45 and was seated promptly. The young lady that waited our table ( 10 guest one waitress) was very nice. We placed our order at 1:17pm. We did not get our food just a little over an hour later. We had to ask twice for our table to be cleared of drink glasses and appetizer plates. The manager cleared it himself one of the two times. When ordering our food we requested two additional drinks in which I had to ask for them to be checked on 30 minutes later. We called the manager back over and he apologized for our experience so far and stated he would take care of my meal. When the food came out I still waited about 15 minutes for my pasta to come out. The manager never came back and check on us after expressing problems to him . The waitress was overwhelmed, she stated that was her first time ever working a party and express she had never waited table before. This should have never happened ..she should have had help. When the food was brought out we went ahead and asked for checks on which she didn’t know how to separate and make 5 tickets. She came and asked if she can make one ticket and we figure it out. Finally a gentleman walked over and asked if we were okay.. he was not a manager. We explained our troubles and ask him to simply help her sort the bill properly so we could pay and leave. An hour later she brings the checks. We left the restaurant after 4… this messed up my plans for the entire day as we had an itinerary of things to do for the day. Management needs more training to better assist their employees. It’s bad enough it hard to find employees that want to work but this is discouraging to those that do and have managers that overlook situations in which took place today. Thanks for messing my birthday plans up, this should have easily...

The food was truly made my visit worth the wait! Although the waiter was friendly, he took around 36 minutes to come and tell us that he was our waiter, by the time they came to introduce themselves my entire party already knew what to order. Well we place orders and by the time our food came we had all forgotten what we had ordered. We got seated at around 4:30 pm, didn’t get attended til like 5:15 pm and didn’t start eating until 6:28 pm. At some point our original waiter even came and introduced us to our new waiter. Well expecting this waiter to do a better job, they actually manage to do an even worse gob at their entitled job, to wait on customers😂😂😂. It was quite comical to say the least. Our waiter finally comes after we have finished our meals, and we asked for our dessert and oh dear, they not only kept forgetting to bring us the menu for the cheesecakes but again once we finally placed the order, they waiter themselves were shocked at how slow they were being. Besides the service being as slow as a slime-less snail trying to get across the dresser carrying its own weight in rocks, the food was fresh, delicious, filling and would definitely recommend the grilled salmon with the fresh squeeze of lemon along with these creamy yet lumpy side of mashed potatoes. The broccoli was just the right touch of freshness and iron. The sauce which I think is some kind of horseradish is also quite tasty. The Korean fried chicken was also flavorful and the cheesecake well, could have been better presentation at least the celebration one looked a little sad but overall the slices were decent. Overall Cheesecake Factory is a classic where the food may not be lacking flavor but the service is always what makes you think twice...

I have a hard time rating this restaurant. The food was good and the service was excellent. Our waiter, Tray, was very attentive and was an awesome server. The problem my friend and I had was with the Tito’s shots we ordered. They were completely watered down. I have the Asian Flush and I’m a light weight so usually I get tipsy off one shot. These shots came out and appeared to be bigger than a normal shot. After 20 minutes my friend and I could barely feel it. We ordered another round because we weren’t feeling much of anything. She actually asked our waiter if she could smell the second shots and she immediately knew that it was watered down. I agreed with her. You could smell a slight alcohol smell but it was not strong at all and definitely didn’t burn your nose like a real shot. My friend did notify the manager and he said he would be looking into it. We did get the shots comped off our bill which I am very grateful for. I think the customer service was amazing and the manager and server were both great even though we did have to bring this up. We hope the manager found out what was happening with the Tito’s. Please avoid the Tito’s shots here unless they have resolved the issue with the watered down liquor!!! We have been here before and the drinks have been fine. We are not sure what happened...
