Came here during the promotion and was honestly impressed with how they managed to make it run smoothly considering it was hella packed. As for the drinks themselves, the menu is quite limited but makes choosing faster lol (however, the limited menu could’ve also just been bc of its opening promotion). I would recommend going for the matcha or brown sugar boba. Equally yummy but twas a shame they didn’t let me do much with topping selections. Also, shoutout to the cool cap contraction on the matcha cup! Considering the space and location wise, they did pretty well on the decor on my opinion. It’s tasteful and chic. HOWEVER, in all honesty, probs wouldn’t come back because it’s kinda expensive for its portions. Was around $8 after tax whereas the ones I’ve gotten in Houston has been more around 6/7. Also, just to put it out there, the near perfect reviews might not be completely trustworthy :3 I saw that they were running a review lottery game during promotion weekend so the 5stars could be because of that. However, that might just be my speculation as you should come try it yourself

Is it worth the hype? Is it worth dealing with the galleria? Short answer, no. Long answer, it’s a very solid tea place but it was definitely a one time visit to this particular location. If they open a closer one that’s easier to park then I might frequent it more. I got 3 drinks from their favorites, my favorite of the 3 was the mango and coconut boom, mango was very refreshing and did not taste artificial at all. The 2nd favorite was the brown sugar boba milk tea, I did less sugar and it was very light, most places half sugar is too sweet, here I might need full sugar next time, finally the triple green tea, after drinking this I realized I don’t really like green tea that much. The prices aren’t that high for the galleria and the service was fast for as crowded as it was. It’s located by the food court/skating rink area.

HEYTEA at Galleria Mall is definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area. The wait time averages around 15 minutes, which isn’t bad considering how popular it gets. Once you get your drink, you’ll see why people line up—it’s consistently delicious and refreshing. I especially recommend trying the Mango Grapefruit Boom—it’s fruity, bright, and super refreshing, perfect if you like something light but full of flavor. Another must-try is the Triple Matcha, which is rich and earthy with just the right balance of creaminess. Both drinks stand out and really showcase why HEYTEA has such a loyal following. Overall, the quality here makes the short wait well worth it. It’s a great spot to treat yourself while shopping at the mall, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their drinks.

Crisp Grape Boom - MY FAVORITE 🍇 💥 so refreshing and its not artificial grape flavor. I also love the grape puree chunks 💜

Cloud Jasmine Tea - Basic but Great Basic 💕 perfect sweetness and tea flavors and I'm a big fan of cream cheese foam (cloud)

Yumberry Boom - Similar to flavors like strawberry, pomegranate, and cranberry 🍓 kinda tart but my sister liked it.

Coconut Mango Boom - I loved the coconut milk jelly and sago toppings that come with it. My friends that dont like coconut still likes this drink 🥭 🥥

Supreme Brown Sugar Bobo Milk Tea - It comes with brown sugar boba, cloud foam topping, and carmelized brown sugar on top. It's really nice if you're looking for a milk tea since the other drinks are fruit tea slush, matcha, etc.

So happy Heytea opened in Houston!!! Can't wait for the Bellaire location. The staff, service, quality of drinks, etc. I love the freebie magnets 🥹🫶 I'll be back 💕💕

SWEETNESS - personally, I like my drinks sweet but the recommended sweetness is PERFECT without adjusting the sugars.

PRO-TIP - download the heytea app for pictures and ingredient...

I visited HEYTEA at Houston Galleria for the first time. After placing an in-store order for 9 drinks, I noticed on the receipt that there was an app for tracking orders. I downloaded the app and saw there was a points system for rewards.

I returned to the counter to ask if my earlier purchase could be added to the app for points. The staff said no — only orders placed through the app are eligible for rewards.

Frankly, this is very disappointing. It's the same purchase, same payment, yet in-store orders aren’t treated equally. As a first-time customer, I wasn’t informed of this beforehand, and the staff didn’t explain that app orders were the only way to earn points.

This lack of consideration and poor customer education leaves a negative first impression. It’s hard to feel valued when loyalty benefits are so restrictive and not transparent.

The drinks may be popular, but the customer experience fell short today. I hope the brand reconsiders how it treats in-store customers —...
